Magical, changed our lives!!
We adopted the Tower Vortex Air Fryer just before Xmas and was amazed! When microwaves came we thought they were brilliant but the downside, reheating some things turned chewy rather than crispy.....not so with this Air Fryer Oven. Not just an air fryer but an oven....rotiserrie chicken, or any piece of meat, tied with string and self bastes as it rotates! Once upon a time, we'd occasionally have oven chips....now it's almost daily! Lol....guilt free due to no added oil required and only what you need cooked. Food little and often. Croissants and other pastry items almost every day, as it's quick and efficient. As for the bacon and/or slices of mushrooms for a fry up? No more soggy mushrooms, or white foam surrounding the bacon in a pan showing the high water content... Nope, beautifully crispy bacon, and tasty mushrooms....and chips if you wanted to put them on one of the 2 wire shelves that are included. My tip for cleaning the wire shelves? A dedicated nail brush for the purpose - as well as on the mesh filter in the cafetiere... We LOVE the air fryer oven. I'm glad I skipped going for just an air fryer....a few pounds more and you get a better capacity, the option of 3 different food items on mesh shelves, and rotisseried meat! I just hope that unlike a previous review, ours won't cease working....but then, there is the Tower Guarantee, which I'd like to assume I can rely on compared to the 'non brands'. Do I recommend this? Yes, yes, yes....with chips on it!!!!! UPDATE 17th September 2022 All is still great with our Wonderful Tower Air Fryer Oven!! Due to wearing on the drip tray we started to line with foil. I put a clean one in each time for a roast chicken - about 1.4kg - and add water to the line. This adds extra moisture and we no longer open the door purely to prick the skin. The juice then gathers and mixes with water, maybe add a bit more for the last 10 mins, and you have some great stuff for gravy....yum!!! In a time of 'cost of living'....in the time it takes to heat up a big/main oven, your chips healthy chips are cooked! We regularly make Greek Spanakopita in it, so it's not just for chips!

Excellent fryer/oven!
Bought as a Black Friday deal at only £60, I'll admit I had reservations about quality/versatility of a product at that price point. Turns out my reservations were totally unfounded. I'd been wanting an air fryer for ages, and this fitted the bill perfectly, since it has the door as opposed to a drawer - being in a wheelchair, that makes it infinitely more user friendly access-wise. Controls are easy to use and intuitive - I've not even used the presets, it's just that simple. The images are quite deceptive as to size, it's very roomy (I can cook a whole garlic baguette in there). I've experimented for 7 days solid with basics like sausages, through to chargrilled vegetables, steaks, poached salmon, cheese & ham toasties and all manner of ready meals - all have come out beautifully. The crispness on things like onion bhaji is world beating! Tastes are very much improved as you can tell items are less fatty. While taking the front door off to clean it can be fiddly at first, to be honest you don't even need to in order to get it sparkly after cooking. The energy cost vs. conventional oven is markedly less (I cooked identical items in both and monitored on smart meter) and the heat up/cool down is significantly quicker. Having a light is a blessing, so you don't end up having to crack it open halfway through and muck up the cooking temperature. Have used the rotisserie accessory for a small beef joint, which came out really succulent medium rare after 45 minutes at 190° plus it eliminated the need for basting. I highly recommend getting the available accessories from Tower - I've used the chip basket that sits on the rotisserie (though the locking catch on that needs a rethink!) and the grilling plate for steaks. The multi skewer rotor for kebabs is a glorious addition! They're not the cheapest but they're very useful. Alternatively non-branded ones are available on Amazon and the measurements are exactly the same as the official ones. Closing off an embarrassingly long review, at the price I paid this is a steal. There's super-posh pricier models with all the bells & whistles, but as an entry level airfryer, it's unmissable for less then £100. I won't be going back to a conventional oven.

register the extended warranty...it is a great fryer though.
Don't forget to register the warranty!!!!.. We bought one of these just over 3 years ago. About a year ago the button illuminations started to fail although the functions still worked even though I couldn't see where the touch pad was. Also the door latch became a bit slack and so the door could open very slightly so the door switch would pause the air fryer. Had I registered the warranty I guess I could have had a replacement. Then just over 3 years the machine failed, tried unplugging and replugging in and each time the machine lights flashed but otherwise dead...Bouught an ew machine now £59 instead of the £115 we paid 3 years ago..yippee. However noticed with the new machine that there is an extended warranty if registered..now done...Oh and the final failure problem as discovered when plugging in new machine...wall socket was bad.. But no matter, we really like this machine with the rotisserie for chicken, chip basket or kebabs, (basket or kebab spits separate buy) the door makes it easy to see and use and clean. Great size for 2, can do a dinner roast in it with joint, potatoes, veg , yorkies. or can get a dish for steak pie or lasagne for 4 to fit.

Tower Oven Air Fryer, Excellent
Top marks for this superb air fryer. A mini oven that saves in cooking time. Ideal for a single person living on their own or a couple. Better than Draw Air fryers, as you can see what is cooking, plus some great accessories. To cook different foods. Highly recommend, simple & easy to use & keep clean.. The fan is reasonably loud, but the kitchen is not a Library, so no need to be quiet. I REALLY LIKE THIS ITEM, BEST BUT THIS YEAR.

Brilliant product
I brought this just before Christmas as a big family we were constantly using the oven cooking at different times and my electricity bill was huge (gas hob, electric oven) ive been debating these for ages as we seemed to be heating up the oven just for a couple of things at times and I’ve used the round air fryer for years (Tefal) I read the reviews and there was a couple of bad reviews but you do get that with every product. The price was really good for the product (£99) and I have many Tower products in my home which I’ve never had issues with. So it arrived Christmas Eve and was keen to use it Christmas Day we cooked a gammon joint using the fork and it came out perfect. The family loved it came out so tender. I’ve used it for various other things since roasters/chips come out perfect nice and crisp. Breaded chicken is so much better in fact there’s nothing I’ve cooked that hasn’t gone well I’ve virtually stopped using the oven altogether, I have food allergies in the house so I liked the fact it came with different shelves so I can cook food separate (it’s why I went for this one rather than basket ones) pizzas come out great. It’s easy to clean has different cooking options or you can set your own. I’m still learning on timings for different items but it’s all basic and easy to use. I can’t recommend this enough don’t sit on the fence purchase you won’t be disappointed.

Great Air Fryer
I have bought several of these for gifts and I have one myself. They’re great, I use this as my main oven, only using my big oven at Christmas now. These are so flexible, I cook full breakfast, chicken, chicken kebabs, bake cakes etc in it. Anything I’d cook in my real oven

A great addition to the kitchen
We’ve had ours for a couple of months now and I feel confident writing this review. I would say these ovens have their uses, rather than being ok for everything, in the same way as a microwave oven is. I’ve cooked whole chickens, pork and beef joints on the rotisserie. They all came out great. Chickens are moist, like the ones you buy from a chicken spit shop. Beef was moist with a great colour. Bacon cooks in 13 mins and is crispy, sausages cook in 19 mins. My normal oven would have just got up to temperature then. All the fat and water drips down to the removable tray at the bottom. It’s also absolutely great for things you want crispy (oven chips, hash browns, etc). The idea of filling all 3 shelves doesn’t really work unless you rotate them, the air gets blocked by each tray of food, and the spot that makes the obvious place for a single shelf (middle of the oven) is blocked by the rotisserie drive. That said we mainly use us one or two shelves and swap them round. This oven saves loads of time and electricity! Cleaning the shelves is easy, cleaning the oven properly takes a little more effort but not much, the door comes off for ease. Overall, like I said, this oven has it’s particular uses, and it’s very good and cost effective at them. I’d definitely recommend one.

Brilliant so happy with it perfect for our family
Brilliant little oven air fryer, should have bought one ages ago I don't like the single pull out drawer type so when I saw someone put this on Tiktok obviously got it free lucky so and so's I bought it, was a bit ticked off it has been very cheap though £65 before and I had to pay £98 but doing it over the 5 months so £20 a month but there we are is what it is, I have 4 girls 12 years down to 3 years old and this cooks enough for all of us, everything comes out perfectly, my oven is on its last legs and can't afford a new one for quite a while so this was a perfect purchase, really easy to clean, love chucking in a roll with cheese and other stuff on it for a quick snack, no preheating for 20 minutes with the oven, cooked a 1.167kg chicken just need to tie up the legs and wings and some Aunt Bessie duck oil roast potatoes and it all came out really nice and juicy. Just hope it lasts need to remember to do the extra warranty I would have liked the bigger 22l one but didn't like the manual old school looking buttons and only two trays to cook on, I haven't used the dodgy oven for a few days now and don't plan on it really as don't need to use it unless I cook for more people. super impressed with this so far just need to get to the shops and see what else I can chuck in it. Have seen its best to get 8 inch pizza and use the two bottom trays as top can burn them switch them over half way through. Lovely jubbly

The design demonstrates strong aesthetic qualities with limited areas for improvement.
Considering the price point, this product offers a favorable value proposition. While the quality is adequate, it may not represent the highest standard. The mesh tray appears to be constructed of steel, potentially stainless steel, and the internal materials are satisfactory. The touch-sensitive controls are user-friendly, featuring a convenient backlight.
