Well Made Die Cast Bus
The toy school bus was purchased as part of a gag retirement gift for a friend who had purchased an old school bus and then spent three years turning the inside of it into a very nice RV. At the last minute we wanted a toy bus to go with his retirement cake, but did not know if we could find one in time for his party. We found this toy school bus on Amazon and it arrived within three days of ordering it. The quality of the bus is excellent. It was initially supposed to be cake topper, but it was too solid for that so it was placed next to the cake. While we had more serious retirement presents to give, our friend seemed to like the bus the best. It is rugged, looks nice, and works well.

He has carried around this school bus since it arrived in his Easter basket. It has gone to school with him, church, car trips, Grandma's house, and it sleeps with him every night. I didn't realize when I ordered it that the door of the bus actually opens, and my son thought this was also really fun when he realized that the door moved. I highly recommend this toy to anyone considering a toy school bus.

small-simple-sturdy, but I would prefer plastic over metal
I bought this toy for my two years old son upon noticing his interest in school buses. Basically he is interested in anything that goes but school buses are among his favourittes. It is a small (5 inch) toy. For those who own 'hot wheels' brand vehicles, I can say it looks and feels similar. May be this one is a little bigger... It has a very simple design. The details of a school bus are well preserved but there is no opening door or a fancy friction system. Just a solid metal plus wheels. I have not observed and wear-tear during 8 months of use and I can say that it is pretty sturdy. However that sturdy metal construction is not beneficial at all times. It can be dangerous in the hands of a young child. Small children can hurt themselves or their play-mates by hitting toys and this one can cause real pain due to its hard material. Therefore, It would be safer if it was made of plastic. Overall, it is simple and offers good fun at a decent price (around $5). Just make sure your child is playing it safe and you are good to go.

Good quality toy.
I got it for my toddler son who uses the school bus to get to preschool.He loves it. Its metal & heavy duty durable,Its trunk and doors open and is a feature my son enjoys. It makes a great gift. Its good and quality made so i dont worry about wheels breaking off and making it a choking hazard for kids.

Cute, but poor quality
This is a nice school bus, but it could be better quality. The packaging is very flimsy, which allows for easy damage during shipping. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or not, but the door came partially open and I am unable to close it. Also, the hood can come up, showing the engine, which is a nice idea. The problem is that the joints are very flimsy and loose, so I'm afraid the hood might easily break off. I'm glad my 3 yr old loves it regardless of these flaws. This seems almost Dollar Tree quality.

Adorable
I bought this for my grandson who for some reason LOVES school buses. I've already purchased several medium and large size buses so this time around I opted for this cute little bus. It seems very well made & it's NOT plastic. I love it so I think my grandson will be really happy with this little bus.

This toy made a great birthday present for my grandson.
I was quite impressed with the quality of this toy. The loading doors open and close, as does the hood. It is self-propelled, which my grandson especially likes. It has rows of seats inside. It lacks a stop sign, but for so reasonable a price, I suppose that is too much to expect.

He is very rough on his toys. He has played with this bus for over 3 months and it is still in one piece.
