Solid and well made tool
Although it seems somewhat awkward for use in a 14" wok due to it's length,I'm getting used to it.Very well crafted and if taken care of would be multi generational easily. There is a review here suggesting heat treatment.I'm a welder/Blacksmith by trade. If a 'Smith makes a tool, that tool is ready without further modificationThis spatula is ready to go as is.Further heat treatment as suggested could remove the temper and lead to problems.Don't do it given that this tool is around twice the price of it's competitors. The people who make these know what they're doing.(5000 years of practice tends to do that). That said,a light coat of oil (PAM et al works well) after cleaning will be just fine. This spatula is a tad heavy but very well balanced,I would prefer a slightly more curved stem and perhaps sides that formed a bit more of a ladle/spoon effect but it works very well in my 14" wok.Highly recommended.

Well made
The photo made it look like there were two spatulas. The one that arrived is exactly as well crafted as it says. The handle is nice and long, so I'm not roasting my hand over a hot wok.

This is the best wok spatula.
Wow! This is the best wok spatula that I have ever used. Its design and functionality are superb. Even though it is quite long (41 cm or 16 and 1/18 inches), it properly fits the curvature of my 12-inch cast iron wok. It is quite large, so it has noticeable weight, but I like the weight. I also like the natural beauty of the raw carbon-steel or raw iron construction. Wash it and dry it immediately after use, and (occasionally) smear it with a very thin coating of any cooking oil. Keep it out of the dishwasher.

Solid With Caviats
Nice stout spatula, seems like it'll last a good long while! Some things Im not quite sure about...1. It has a blue hue to it. Hard to see in photo but I wanted a black metal spatula. Maybe itll change with use?? 2. The leading edge of the spatula is slightly concave meaning the outer corners scrape but the center doesn't. 3. The handle part you hold on to is kinda short for bigger hands.

Beautiful craftsmanship = the perfect wok spatula
This is a beautifully made wok spatula. I have looked for a new spatula to replace a 40 year old one that lost its wooden portion of the handle, but that I can't bear to part with. I've finally found a suitable one to take over it's duties. I love the finish, the handle has some cross hatching to prevent slipping from the hand. The length is just right and it is perfectly weighted for my hand. The best part is how it rides the wok. I will be purchasing more so I can live out the rest of my life without worrying about ever needing another replacement. I am contemplating getting one from seller's Etsy shop in order to have it personalized. That's how much I love it. I highly recommend but don't get yours until I've gotten the rest of mine! Just kidding!

A bit too long and too heavy
I am 5'10" and work out at the gym yet I find it a bit too long and too heavy.

It's very nice.
This thing will never break. It is one solid piece of metal, and it's the only wok shovel I will ever have to buy. I was on the fence about it, but I didn't really like the other options, so I got it. I'm happy I did. It's nice to work with.

Proper tool for iron/metal woks
Aftee 9 months of use, I'm back to purchase the laddle. Solid heirloom quality iron tool. Treat it as a cast iron pan or carbon steel wok after each use and it will remain beautiful. Mine has not scratched my pans like others have said, but maybe it's in how you treat your tools. If you want easy to use crappie that you'll just replace, don't buy this, if you want something that will last as long as you, buy it, maintain it.

Brilliant single piece wok shovel. It is so sturdy and light with a lovely wide and curved edge to the shovel head perfect for any wok task. Love it.

Does a great job - some smaller ingredients are inclined to stick to it.

Old school. Very well balanced and very sturdy. Just need to watch for rusting if you do not dry it asap.
