This is the best screen protector I've ever had for my pixel 2 XL. it was easy to install, and ended with no bubbles or rainbow effect, however, I was extremely diligent about ensuring there was no dust on the surface of my phone, using the provided stickers, before installing the screen protector. it's an especially good value, because the screen protector comes as a two pack. One downside of the protector is the adhesive around the edges dust and hair can get stuck to it. Overall good value, and I will buy again if needed.

Note: If you do not use a case, then don't read further, this is definitely a perfect glass shield with no case..... I have 5 pixel 2 XLs in the family. So I order these enough that it's not common, but also not rare either. These supershieldz do have curved edges and cover the glass enough around the curved edges to my satisfaction... I do see as per other reviews that it does not cover the entire curved edges and I have to disregard those reviews as I have a silicon protective case on all 5 of my family's pixel 2 XLs and the case just barely overlaps onto the curved edges a bit (note: I'm not joking, they are not regular pixels, not a pixel 4 or 5... They all are specifically pixel 2 XLs, the only variation is the color and memory size, some have the 64gb version, others have the 128.) I ordered 3 of these after ordering 1 for testing. I use the simple "Spigen" protective case for all the devices and it's a very tight fit. I am the family tech guy and do all the tech work for the family naturally... There has been a couple goofs where I placed this supershieldz 1 mm too far to the right or left and with the Spigen case the shield popped off, in some cases a few days later.. I have since learned to be more precise and put it in the case slowly and play with it to see if it will pop off before returning to that person. Still, you should be fully warned and aware, the tight fit of your case and this shield may not mesh right if your case overlaps the curved edges a bit as well. I will still continue to buy these. The cut outs are fine 100% but a couple observations.... There is a cutout directly below the top speaker in an oval shape. There is nothing there for the pixel 2 XL. There is no cut out for the "spy" sensor on the top right, but since it's clear, I have not noticed any issues with that sensor and it works perfectly fine... (That sensor on the top right is what I call the creep sensor, as you should know (like I do) if you wave your hand or even look at your phone it lights up and you can see your most recent activity, that is the sensor I speak of... There is no cut out for it, but there is no blocking of it either.... The tips of both top and bottom are indeed black. No complaints, just observations.. I have these saved so I can order again when needed. Love them.

The Good news...........I was surprised how simple they made it to install this screen protector. They provided a link to their install video and the tabs that created hinges for the installation made it so easy. Once installed the touch screen continues to be ultra sensitive and easy to use.......like it isn't there. I have dropped my phone on my tile floor and the good news is the phone WAS protected and nothing broke. But the screen protector pops off and cannot be reapplied. I think it is important to know that the protector is a one-time-use item. This is the reason I have purchased these 3 times now.

Dropped a phone on concrete, the protector cracked and the phone is unharmed - it worked to absorb the shock just like it's supposed to. I'm ordering another just like it. Very easy to apply, but on the con side, some dust got under it and if not perfectly placed it can block a sensor that keeps there phone awake during calls.

I order these on a pretty regular basis due to how often I drop my phone. I have had my Pixel 2 XL for almost 3 years now, and have not a single scratch/crack on the surface due to these tempered glass protectors. Advice: as soon as the screen protector cracks (from a drop or impact), replace it. The crack will continue to grow and then you could risk cracking your device screen as well. As long as the tempered glass isn't cracked, it will defend your screen from anything!

When I first bought this screen protector I really liked it. The 2 for one deal orginally sold me on the product and installation was a breeze. The screen protector felt really solid but today at work I dropped my phone face down and my screen under the screen protector broke. Now I have a hairline crack on the top of my screen that crosses over my camera lens. I'm not sure if this is an artificat of the screen protector being sh*tty or just the way my phone landed but I'm not happy. 3 stars

I use this on a Pixel 2 XL. The cutouts and the fit are perfect. When attached, the touch screen is perfectly responsive, and it seems to repel fingerprints beautifully. It would be great if the installation instructions were more detailed, so 1) if you have a case, install the screen before the case 2) they supply alcohol wipes, but do not mention that one *really* should use them, even if your screen looks clean because they improve the adhesion 3) It's probably a good idea to weight down the protector -- turn the phone upside down and put a text book or two on top -- and let it sit overnight. BTW do all this with the phone powered off, right? I installed mine the first time without having been informed of this advice, dropped the phone and it popped off... Well, after a single email they sent me a replacement just like that and were very nice about it. Now, it is nice and tight and has not popped off after being dropped. I rarely review products, but they really deserve this for their good service (thanks, Tom) and I hope it helps you all, too.

Goes on easy, no bubbles, fits perfectly! Seems very durable. I bought another one before this one from another maker and the sides bubbled up right away due to the screen curves. Not this one though. On day 3 I was wiping smudges off and I may have pressed the screen too hard, and it created this ring underneath that was visible with glares, and also on black screens. That kinda stuff bugs me so I almost took it off, but I waited and after several minutes in my pocket, the pressure rings went away on their own! As they say, one screen protector to rule them all! This is the one!
