This is a great microwave oven! Having gone through a number of countertop microwave ovens large enough for regular use and small enough to fit on a narrow kitchen counter, I was growing increasingly disappointed in the quality of those previous purchases. Even after searching for highly rated products and seemingly good quality products, I was less than happy that so many would break within a year or two. Chipping paint, broken hinges, overly complicated "bells and whistles" control pads. Then I found the Panasonic NE-1025F 100W Commercial Microwave far at the bottom of an Amazon search with only one review. I did research on the internet and couldn't find many more reviews anywhere else. But I did find one good instructional video from Panasonic that described what makes a commercial product a commercial product: no rotating turntable (relying instead on a hidden rotating antenna), smooth interior for easy cleaning, stronger parts rated for long-term, rugged use. So I made the decision and bought the Panasonic NE-1025F 100W Commercial Microwave. Two days later the Panasonic NE-1025F 100W Commercial Microwave arrived from Amazon and I could not be happier. It is slightly more compact than anticipated but in a good way that results from a very well constructed design. And I love the turning knob. It's so simple. Turn the knob to the desired time and a nice orange light showing the remaining time displays above the knob. Turn the knob a little more and the time increases. Open the door and the timer stops. Completely. To start again you close the door and turn the knob again. When your food is ready, the microwave makes a nice sounding beep. Not annoying. Not too loud. Not too soft. If you are looking for a replacement microwave oven or searching for your first oven for any sized area, then buy the Panasonic NE-1025F 100W Commercial Microwave. The Panasonic NE-1025F 100W Commercial Microwave is what every microwave should be.

I purchased this microwave for my aging father. He was having trouble with the push buttons on other microwaves and would often burn things beyond recognition, due to the fact that the push button allowed things to be heated for an unsafe amount of time for a senior. With this microwave the numbers on the dial light up as you turn it. The knob is turned easily but the max amount of time is 6 minutes. Which is perfect for my father. He does not turn the dial pass 3 minutes and he has no trouble with the buttons or confusing numbers. Additionally, the bonus is that the microwave does not have a rotating turntable, and the inside is sealed well and easy to clean. No glass turntable, or rotating ring to worry about. This newer model comes with the auto stop feature which means the microwave stops and does not restart once the door is opened. It won't resume cooking time, once the door is open it resets to zero. The indicator chimes on the microwave are not as loud as some other household microwaves so if a senior has hearing difficulty this microwave may not be the best choice.

Look no further. This is a wonderful appliance. I have no doubt that the Panasonic's NE-1025F microwave will provide YEARS of excellent service. Everything about this product--design & construction--speaks of the highest quality. It has a simple dial control and no annoying turntable. Its power comes from the floor. It cooks perfectly. Initially I'd purchased a $399 Breville microwave. Its glowing video reviews are wildly misleading. The difference between the Panasonic and Breville is astonishing. I'll be blunt: the Breville: is a poorly designed and constructed piece of overpriced crap. Its "big feature" is its soft-closing door. I'd only open/shut it maybe a dozen times when it began to weaken. Charging $399 is virtually criminal. I recommend the NE-1025F without reservation. You simply cannot go wrong with this excellent Panasonic product. Yes, its $313 price is higher than most microwaves, but well-justified. Spend the few extra dollars. You will NOT be disappointed.

Pretty. Durable. Easy to clean. No interior rotating platter (it has a better way to spread the microwaves around) so it's easy to clean on the inside too. When it's done cooking it beeps tastefully. The user interface is perfect. Just a dial with nice glowing numbers. So simple and logical. All other microwaves look tragic and dumb compared to this microwave.

It works great for my elderly, vision impaired mother. No buttons to push, nothing to read. Just turn the dial. With a max setting of 6 minutes over cooking is very seldom a problem

Per the features it is exactly as advertised. Heats well, is compact. Just a nice machine. Warning: I bought this unit from Amazon's Warehouse Deals. It was listed as "Like New Condition." Unfortunately this was not the case. The unit was very clean but someone had taken a knife to the two-part handle and separated the front of the handle from the rear of the handle. Think clamshell design. Why? No idea why one would want to take the handle apart. But, they broke one of the plastic tab keeps. And of course it was the one keep that held it all together. I can glue the handle back on with an epoxy, but this was the first time i've ever bought an Amazon Warehouse Deal that was listed as like new that was not like new. Update #1: The microwave is now making a grinding noise of sorts as it works. Not a happy camper at the moment. I probably will be returning this unit for a refund. I will probably buy a brand new on of this unit to replace it. My gut tells me I got a lemon. If I get a new one I'll add another update when an appropriate time has passed and I have tested the new one. Update #2: Grinding noise 100% my fault. Microwave must sit on perfectly level surface and mine was not.

Well - this is an excellent microwave. I was hoping it was simple enough for my 96 year old mom to use. But it isn't working for her. A few minor changes could be made to make this a super microwave for visually impaired adults. 1. Make all the words under the big know disappear. Make it a decal that people can put on. My mom is spending hours reading all the words hoping it will become clear how to use the machine. It doesn't help at all. 2. The timeout on when the know is inactive is WAY TOO FAST for someone who is 96. The light goes off and she is stuck. The timeout after the door is shut should be in the order or 30 seconds. 3. And of course - the display could be bigger and brighter - but we will work on that. There is so little consideration given to the elderly in the user interface with most products - I was hoping this would be an improvement - but I am not sure it is even going to work.

Trusted Panasonic Products for many many years. This microwave it nothing but a subpar quality of panasonic line. The dial is flimsy and feels like it will break off right away. The microwave stops working after few months of use. The warranty is a hassle to get to. I just called the number provided and it says they are closed but then states the hours of normal times that they are open and guess what according to their automated system they are to be open today till 7pm EST. But they are not. Glad I bought it through my American express card and bought a square trade warranty. Guess that route will be what I will exercise here. Will not be buying or recommending this to anyone and also the faith lost in Panasonic. I have bought 2 of these on this order and have bought multiple units of different models before. HORRIBLE product and support.

Well built, solid microwave. Great for commercial use. But not that good for what I needed it for. Many website recommend this for the elderly. Yes it is very easy to use. But the microwave has no turn table Any meals from frozen will be cooked in some areas and still frozen in other areas of the dish. For our needs this microwave is not that good for the elderly.
