How often can one be reminded to unconditionally accept another person regardless of their appearance and have that truth packaged in an outstanding representation of our undersea world? Great book!
My 4 year old son first discovered this book at the library. We had checked it out several times before I ended up buying it. He really enjoys reading listening to the story and the pictures are beautiful as well. We also purchased the book that is a prelude to this one called "Big Al".

Great bully lesson book!
Big Al is one of my favorites to read to my kindergarten classroom during my ocean unit. It is a wonderful bully prevention book great for making the point of it doesn't matter how you look on the outside. It is what's inside and your actions that matter. Be sure to also read Big Al and Shrimpy!
