Pleasant Surprise
I needed a GPS for my motorcycle for a long trip as maps would be cumbersome at best. I chose the Garmin 265WT. The handlebars on my 2007 BMW K1200GT are forged and not round in shape and I figured that this unit would need to be modified in some way to work. Since BMW charges in the area of $800 - $900 for a GPS and mount it would be worth the savings. The unit comes with two sizes of mounting brackets and bolts plus the important locknuts. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could mount the unit, barely, on the bars and that the range of adjustment allowed positioning that did not block the view of the tachometer, speedometer and onboard computer. Additionally the windscreen area provided enough protection that in downpours in Michigan and Ohio I was not forced to remove the GPS. Initial trip was 4 days riding from Massachusetts to West Virginia to Ohio to Michigan and back. It was steady and solid for 1900 miles in 4 days and the GPS was a vital part of that trip. Highly recommended.

The perfect solution
I own several GPS devices all same brand and model for my cars and did not want to have to buy the more expensive motorcycle version GPS. This device solved that problem. I got the exact model for my current GPS and within a few minutes had it on my handlebars and was riding the roads with GPS assistance. Not that I need a GPS to ride, but it is a nice thing to have. Easy to mount, keeps the GPS secure over rough roads and does not cover the interface, allowing complete viewing. A lot cheaper than a complete motorcyle version, I would recommend this to those who dont want to spend $$$ on another GPS. Note* get a cigarette lighter aux power supply for your motorcycle and then you will not have to worry about power. Can ride all day!

Pleased as punch
I am extremely pleased with this product. As a matter of fact, I used it just recently on a rental Harley in Denver, and it saved me quite a bit of stress. The parts seem well made and the directions are so easy to follow that even an old person could assemble this onto a bike or motorcycle. Really, the only tool I needed was an open-end/box-end wrench for tightening the screws onto the U-bolt that went around the handlebar. And, to keep from marring the handlebar, there was a piece of plastic or rubber than was formed in such a way that the device held on quite tightly without my worrying that the handlebars would be scratched. So, I recommend this to anyone who desires to have their GPS device with them. I've even recommended this to a couple of friends who are looking for solutions.

Nice Product
Used this to put a Garmin Nuvi 200W on my Harley. Pretty easy to install. Holds GPS in place securely and easy to adjust so you can see it well. One slight issue is there is a piece of plastic that interferes with the plug hole for power in the back of the GPS. It doesnt cover the hole but it is close to it. I bought a wire to power the GPS that is 90 degree off-set so it didn't fit into the GPS because of the piece of plastic. The plastic piece is small so I cut it and everything works fine.

Almost Perfect
Purchased this GPS holder for my HD Road Glide. Mounted it on left side handlebar with little problem. Did require me to modify the housing to be able to connect the battery plug on my Garmin Nuvii. The housing is in the way of the 90 degree plug in the back of GPS unit, so I just shaved a bit off the plastic to make it fit. Might work better with other GPS units or where the power connection isnt placed on the back of the unit. Still, this is a good product, great price, works well holding the GPS securely - would still recommend.

As Advertised
Great item that worked as advertised. Used it the first weekend on the Sportster for a ride up to Lake Tahoe and it held up to the vibration of my pre rubber motor mount model just fine. I have used Ram products for my marine electronics and always been satisfied. Just be aware that when you order the mount you do not have to order the cradle separately for the Garmin unit, it comes with the mount. I didn't think the ordering process made that clear enough so I ended up with an extra cradle. Not a huge deal...just making a note that may clear things up for others.

Good product but had to modify to make it fit the power cord
Ram makes the best motorcycle and car mounts money can buy no doubt. The only issue I had is the plastic mount for the Garmin GPS had a cross bar in the way of the 90 degree electrical plug that comes with the GPS. two quick snips with a pair of wire cutters resolved the issue but one should not have to modify a new item. That is why I did not give it a five star rating.

GPS motorcycle mount
This is just what I needed, on my 2005 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic. It holds my Garmin 255W on the left handlebar. It has no vibration, and is easy to see. I can even hear the speaker with a 3/4 helmet on. I also have an OEM Harley hand microphone holder on the left and it does not interfere with it.I lost a Garmin 350 last year at Deals Gap NC, when I had the stock mount stuck on my tachometer. Still have the mount, but not the head assy. Also got it for $10.00 less on Amazon, than Ram was selling it for.
