Master Lock 1514D Dial Combination Padlock, 1-7/8 in. Wide with 3/4 in. Long Shackle, Purple Dial

This lock is exactly what you'd expect from a basic combination lock - functional but not high security. The 3-digit combo is easy to set and remember, and the dial turns smoothly without sticking. The purple color makes it easy to spot in a row of lockers. For a gym bag or school locker protecting clothes and basic items, it does the job. The build quality is decent enough for daily use, and the numbers are clearly visible. It's lightweight but doesn't feel flimsy. That said, let's be realistic - this is a basic deterrent lock, not a security solution. The 3-digit combination means there aren't that many possible codes, and the mechanism isn't particularly sophisticated. It'll keep honest people honest and prevent casual theft, but don't use it to secure anything truly valuable. It's perfectly fine for PE class, gym lockers, or storing non-valuables, just understand its limitations and use it accordingly.

Master Lock is practically synonymous with reliability, so a glowing review almost feels unnecessary, but this one deserves a mention. We picked up the purple version for my teenage daughter, and the fun color was a perfect fit for her personality while still offering the solid build quality that’s made Master Lock a household name for decades. This dial combination lock is used daily at school (during the day, after school, and for sports practice) and it’s held up perfectly under regular use. The dial turns smoothly, the mechanism feels secure, and there’s real peace of mind knowing her valuables are locked up tight. A classic, well-made lock with a stylish twist that’s built to last. Exactly what you want in a lock!.

Works well!

Works just as expected! I got it for my gym locker and it’s easy to use. I thought about getting one with dual key/combo, but just didn’t want the chance of losing the key…combo, is just enough! The purple makes for easy reading and serves its purpose. The price was right, as well. These are standard and always dependable! Can’t go wrong for the money! Rapid unlocking and the size is perfect!

We have lockers at my work and it works fantastic and is as easy as you could expect from a basic locker room-esque lock. It is made of metal so if that’s a worry they are very strong and cannot simply be pulled open. It’s a great option which is cheaper as opposed to its competitors

Very sturdy and secure
