100% Pure Flax Linen Blanket

I want to buy a 2nd one. The linen is soft and not cheaply made. High quality blanket. There's a myth that linen heals the sick. Never again will I buy synthetic fibers. Be-careful not to set the dryer settings too high and do a gentle wash in the washer to not fray the blanket. Mine's perfectly fine and I had it for 3 years so far.

Lovely! Based on prior reviews, I made sure to zig-zag the edges to avoid fraying. Washed it as I do with any new purchase, and the it didn't fray other than a few odd strands. Though not as soft as today's cuddle blankets, these are not scratchy, and I suspect will continue to soften more and more with use and wear. The dual color sides (Greige and Cream) willl accommodate both warm and cool colored rooms, and the blanket is nice quality, similar to a think quilt. Our Ohio weather went from cold to hot back to cooler, and these blankets appear to regulate with body temperature to keep you quite comfortable while sleeping. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

This throw was already soft when it arrived. I washed it as I do my linen sheets. Wash in cold water, and tumble dry low. It came out of the dryer as the softest linen I've ever felt. I did not experience fraying. The weight, the heft, the drape and the general look of pure linen is like nothing else. The colors are natural and perfectly match back to the plaid blanket I purchased from the same company. I believe both items are listed as gray, but they are natural and ivory. Absolutely gorgeous, both items.

This is a nice light blanket. It is breathable and soft. The edges are frayed and it is shaped long and narrow. We use it more for a summer throw.

This blanket is not soft at all. I was not happy with the material. It feels like an old, torn, worn out blanket with strings attached at the end. I washed it on delicate and hung it to dry and it feel apart. The ends came more loose and the blanket got even more stiff. I would not recommend this blanket to anybody. Don’t buy, not worth your money.

I purchased this for my husband about a year ago. I did a zig-zag stitch around the blanket before washing it. It has been washed since, in cool water, low heat dry and has not shrunk. Linen will shrink a lot in hot water or hot dryers, so just avoid that scene. It is a soft, cool blanket that breaths well.

Just received this throw, and can’t believe how cool it is for the price. I can easily see it in a Venice or Santa Monica boutique for $350. So perfect I just bought a second one for my other couch. As to reviewers that said it frayed, it is made of linen and meant to have a “homespun” look. I expect if I hang it to dry it will be fine, but even if it frays a bit that will still fit with my look. Also as other reviewers said it isn’t scratchy as linen sometimes can be. Love this! Have now washed it. Did not shrink at all (washed in cold on gentle cycle), did not stick in the dryer, per instructions on package and very little additional fraying. I now have 3 of these, because I have beige couches and pets.

I eventually want linen sheets, but this is a pleasant first experience with flax linen. Smells lovely and love the texture on my skin. I like to bundle up in it after a hard day's work. Lovely, earthy blanket.
