Is there a timer or not? One customer says she loves that it has a timer. Another says there isn't one. Which is it?

There is a single button. If you posh it once it stays on for 6 hours and stays off for 18 hours and then beck on again. You can stop the timer while the lights are lit by pushing the button-- Some of these guys should try reading the instructions.

does this have to be plugged in or does it use batteries?

I ordered this same wreath thinking it was battery operated as stated in the comments, but it was not. It had an electrical cord for power. Not what I wanted. Still very nice.

Do the lights need to be plugged in or do they work via batteries?

Hello, This wreath is pre-strung with 50 UL listed clear incandescent lights that need to be plugged in. Thank you for your interest in our wreath.

Is this wreath suitable for uncovered outdoor use?
