I recently bought a smart lock for our home (Aqara U200) and I planned to use the included 3M sticky mounting grips to attach it to our door lock. After a few days, I noticed it leaning away from our door, the included grip didn’t feel strong enough and pulled away from the door with a gentle pull. Enter the double sided strips from T-Rex. I took the lock off and removed the areas of 3M adhesive grip which made contact with the door and lock and replaced them with cut-to-size bits of the T-Rex strips. The results were immediately better, there is no give on pulling, prodding or pushing the lock on the side. It’s perfectly strong, feels like a durable hold and actually feels like the door may come off rather than the lock if I pulled it hard enough!

Very coonvenient but haing used it to fix a solar powered light which was very light, after about two weeks approx it suddenly released the light with no warning. So a bit dissapointed. Perhaps the fact that the light, which was small and light was charged by the sun ment that the sunlight and obvious heat meant it weakened the hold of the tape, perhaps for most things it would be more than adequate.

Purchased these to adhere a wind propelled mini LED plastic device to my bumper grill. These heavy duty pads hold up to 24lb according to their description, the LED device was barely 1lb. Surface of grill was cleaned, LED device was brand new out of the packet. Outdoor temperature was not extreme (13 degrees C). Protective peel from sticky pad removed seconds before application, so not exposed or dried out. As per the video, did not stick. All stickiness gone, no purchase/grip at all as my thumb runs over the pad, there's no stickiness there. This was my third attempt from the same pack of sticky pads. I gave the benefit of the doubt for the first two pads as the pads come joined together in twos that you just tug apart, thinking that might've been a dodgy set. But no!

It lasted 5 days then my dashcam fell off my windscreen and I thought this was a good product…NOT

Finally something that keeps my dash cam on my windscreen!! I have tried countless others, some pricier than this, thinking more expensive meant better stick!! How wrong was I. Every other one stick and seems secure until the next day when I’d come out to dash cam dangling from roof!! This has stuck and stayed stuck. 2 weeks later we are still going strong. Long may it last, although there’s plenty to replace even if it does fail every month or so. Still better than daily! *Edit* Feel this is worthy of an edit as I’m astonished every morning. 2 months down the line and my dash cam is as secure as the day it was first stuck. Thought the cold weather may have sealed its fate. Even with the window frosting up on the inside, this is still going strong. I can only think the people having issues with this aren’t doing the proper prep. **Further Edit** struggling with the negative reviews as I specifically came back to update on the basis that 9 months after using this I had to gift my dash cam to Arnold Clarke with trade in, as I couldn’t remove this from my windscreen!! Really thought I was going to break the window before this gave up! Don’t understand how it is failing for people. Clean your window folks, won’t stick otherwise.

To say its extreme hold is an understatement its the best

Nach einem ersten, aber leider nicht erfolgreichem Versuch einen Seifenspender wieder an einer Keramikfliese festzukleben, habe ich nach einem "extrastarken" Kleber gesucht und dieses Produkt bestellt. Nach der Anwendung vor ca. 2,5 Wochen hält aktuell noch alles so wie es soll.
