Brentwood KT-1508BL Dual Voltage 120/220 Volt Collapsible-Travel Kettle, 0.8 Liter, Blue

Bought this kettle for use in my camper van and it does everything needed. Collapses down for stowage, rugged enough to survive bumpy roads, expands and holds enough water for a full pot of tea. Measured the power and it averaged about 792 watts; about 62 amps in my system (nominal 12.6VDC - 2000W PSW inverter). It takes almost exactly 6 minutes, or about 6.2 Ah to boil the full kettle. Faster and easier that using a propane or butane stove, and no fumes in a small camper. Fill it up, plug it in, continue fixing other stuff and when the auto shut-off trips....make the tea. No waiting and watching, and no boiling over. Set it aside to cool off, have breakfast, then collapse the kettle and stow it. Easy. I started by boiling a few kettles of water with a little white vinegar to get rid of any taste and now it's clean and clear. Haven't had it long enough to evaluate long term reliability, but for the price it's a great buy.

This traveling tea kettle is the perfect size to fit in your luggage but also to make two cups of tea. The kettle was easy to fold and to clean. The silicone material looks great, is a good quality, and quite durable. I got to enjoy flavors of tea I wanted in my hotel room and the balcony. I recommended it to several friends.

We've been using this for travelling to help prep baby formula. It's pretty compact and has been durable enough so far to withstand a few flights and multiple hotels. Volume wise it's perfect and it's compact travel mode is ideal for sticking it in a suitcase. The one negative i would say is that i'm not convinced that it reaches boiling temperature, i'll need to stick a thermometer in it to test thoroughly but it's doesn't 'boil' to a temperature that i would expect. Generally satisfied so far though.

This thing is brilliant. I never leave a review unless there is a negative thing I want others to be aware of before they buy - but this little kettle is the bomb. I researched so many options and am glad I got this one. Collapses easily. Heats quickly. Pours nicely. Works consistently. Large capacity. My only hesitation when I bought it was the design of the fold out handle but that works well too. All pros and no cons.

Love this kettle for travel. Makes it so easy to have coffee or tea anytime in a hotel room. In some countries we have even used it for making hot water for bathing! Wouldn’t travel without it!

Boils just as fast as my at home glass kettle. I use it on vacation for my babies formula. A little difficult to get it to collapse but overall good for the price. Holds more water than my at home kettle and has an auto off feature.

We live in a time where there is such a thing as a collapsible, travel tea kettle. What a time to be alive! This little beauty is a life changer for traveling. It fit nicely in a carry-on and we had no trouble getting through airport security. A full pot boiled in about 5 minutes and fit enough water for two 16 ounce cups (saving room for milk). Before using it for tea, I boiled plain water in it twice. Then I boiled a little white vinegar and water and then once more with just plain water. That seemed to do the trick because there was no plastic taste in our tea. Also, there were no funny odors when the tea kettle was in use. This kettle is an absolute must have for traveling! And for those of us with celiac, it's an easy way to bring a clean and safe appliance on trips.

I bought this little kettle for our camper. Works like a charm and collapses down for easy storage. I've had it for two years and used it for camping trip only. So far, so good on durability of the silicone.

Bought this dual voltage item foe our Europe trip. Easy to change from 110 to 220. Collapsible works well. Filled it to maximum and it boiled in 2 min 45 sec. The automatic stop works well. No smell, no weird taste. This is an incredible item. Would recommend and would buy again. The Brentwood company was great compared to another company that never delivered even after 3 months of making the order.

A nice portable teakettle. Switching between 110 and 220V is super easy. Works as a charm.

This folding kettle really surprised me with it's build quality and function. I travel for work on various continents, and always need a kettle for making early morning coffee etc. I love how compact and portable this is but it still feels like it will last and be reliable. It's great that I can set it for 120 and 220 volt and take it everywhere.

The perfect solution for my frequent travels from Canada to Chile. Kettle has a flat-head screw style switch on the bottom to change between 120V/60Hz and 240V/50Hz power requirements which was necessary to operate it while I was down in Chile and will be very useful when traveling to other 240V/50Hz countries outside of North America. The kettle folds up very nicely and is very durable and compact when collapsed for storage.

Bought a cheaper one on Amazon last year and broke the second time we used it! This one lasted on our 14 day trip and is ready to go with us next time. Compact and easy to travel in luggage
