Forbrain Bone Conduction Audio Return Headphones

I use the Forbrain for my students during their reading sessions after school and have seen great results. I currently have a student that is not a confident reader and can barely hear him when reading aloud. I can’t tell you what a game changer the Forbrain has been for this child as his confidence went up with each session. Another student that was 2 years behind caught up within weeks of using the Forbrain and not far behind her peers. I have expanded the use of Forbrain, helping children with speech difficulties, in particular stammering. We mainly use it during short play sessions and noticed a reduction in dysfluency. I work as a specialist teacher and educational therapist and have found the Forbrain to be an amazing piece of therapeutic kit. I have several clients who have bought and use a Forbrain unit and I have my own unit that I use with clients during both therapy and S.E.N tutor sessions with me. The results can be heard almost immediately with increased speech fluency. A young client who slurred his words and could not discriminate hearing t in words and so didn't pronounce t in his speech, began pronouncing t within words in the first 5 minutes of wearing the unit as well as having increased clarity which began to be sustained between sessions. Another 11 year old client with dyslexia borrowed my unit for the weekend to try out, wearing it for 10 - 15 minutes each day whilst reading aloud and chatting to her mum. Having just used it on the Saturday and Sunday, she was thrilled when back at school on Monday the headteacher heard such an improvement in her reading fluency that he awarded her 10 housepoints. The family were so impressed that they bought their own unit which they also use with their younger daughter. Both children have improved in their reading and also their recall of what has been read has increased dramatically. Speaking with my young dyslexic client you can hear her increased speech fluency and she reports improved sound and phoneme discrimination, which is helping with her spelling lessons at school already. Likewise a 16 year old high functioning autistic male who would always speak in a high pitched vocalisation began speaking in his mature/adult voice after wearing the Forbrain unit. He was able to hear his own voice clearly and recognise how he sounded and to adjust to this change with ease. Mum was so impressed that she bought a unit for his use and we are now using it to improve his reading comprehension ability. It is a very easy kit to charge and use. The headset seems to fit everyone no matter what age and I have used it with a 3 year old up to an 81 year old with Aphasia. I am currently exploring the possibilities of using the Forbrain with an adult client who stutters and I am hopeful of improved speech fluency and clarity. For its price, ease of use, length a charge holds and the quality of the product complete with the robust storage case it comes in, the Forbrain unit is something I can heartily recommend. For the price it is excellent value especially in reducing therapy costs and enabling my clients to continue to benefit and make gains between sessions.
