Awesome. 4P has tons of room! โบ
This tent is AWESOME, the best we have ever owned so far and we are experienced campers (both of us since childhood). Finally.. a tent that has enough standing room to change clothes!! Plus, having 2 doors is just flippin' awesome. The geometrical design is really cool too and brings some great moonlit views through the roof at night. ๐ In relation to other reviews I do want to say it is standard that literally all tents, no matter their make - come small and dont usually fit the actual person count. 2 person is always a slightly roomy 1 person, 3 person a tight 2 person, and 4 person enough room for 2 ppl and (maybe) their gear. Knowing this we bought the 4 person Kazoo for 2 adults, and we were surprised just how much room it has compared to other 4 person tents. There's room for us as well as all of our gear, a dog, and 2 small children, so we know we will have this for a long time as our family grows. ๐ As far as durability goes it is excellent so far. We recommend getting a footprint for it though because the material is not heavy duty tarp on the bottom (though it is durable - we just wanted to be safe and prolong its lifespan). It got VERY, VERY windy on the last day where we camped in Utah, and the guylines held up great. The tent and poles withstood the strong winds very well with no problems whatsoever. I always spray an extra layer of waterproofing on every tent we get which i also did with this, but we could tell this thing is waterproofed well on its own especially around the zippers and doors. If you're looking for a really roomy yet durable option, thats also easy to set up, go with this one. It's great ๐๐

Perfect For Cub Scouts!
Ordered the 2 person Kazoo yellow tent for my son to use for camping with his Cub Scout pack! The original price is $99 which I find to be pretty step for this 2-person tent however I got a discount by finding one in the โlike newโ other sellers section for $47. We started with searching on YouTube for a set up video and then my 10 year old set it up pretty much on his own with minimal help from his older sister. The size is perfect for him and all his gear but you could easily stick another child in there and their sleeping bag too. Setting up takes him about 10 minutes on his own. He has more trouble taking it down and getting it to go back in the bag but I feel like thatโs typical of most tents when the provided bag doesnโt expand to accommodate packing up after itโs no longer factory-flat. With practice though he will get better. He has not used it in the rain yet so wind and rain durability is still to be determined but this was a fantastic find to get him started with camping especially when he needs a small tent for just him and his gear when we arenโt family camping.

Things you should know
There's good news and bad news. Bad news first... If you pay attention to the reviews, most of the more recent ones are pretty bad. Something I didn't pay attention to until I had issues as well. I received my tent Wednesday. I opened it to set it up (because that's what you do when you're excited about your new tent...) and to my surprise, one of the poles was splintered. It left quite a bit of fiberglass in my hand that I am still trying to get out 4 days later. I hope that it doesn't snap in half. What's even worse is that they claim to give you a 2 year warranty yet I have called the number linked to their company multiple times over the past few days and no one answers. Finally, to top it off, the "customer service email" they give you is fake. It's even printed on the tag of the tent. You can not send them an email, it doesn't exiet. There is NO customer service. I'm chalking this up to "you get what you get". The good news... Other than those things, it's a pretty great tent really. I also tested it out in the rain and it did not leak nor collect moisture. It's pretty spacious, the fabric is great quality and it's really cute. It's very easy for 1 person to set up and it takes about 5 minutes tops. Even if I can never get a replacement pole (which really, really sucks) I'm still pretty satisfied with it. I'm guessing this item is just hit or miss. Unfortunately I fell somewhere in the middle. Edited to add*** I just got done with a spontaneous primitive camping trip. We ended up stuck in the woods in the middle of a tornado watch. Heavy rain, high wind and trees falling all around us. Everything was absolutely soaked. There was a 4 inch puddle under my entire tent. The crazy part? NOT A SINGLE DROP CAME INSIDE!!! Everything stayed 100% dry and sturdy even though we were literally camping on a huge mud puddle. This is extremely well made and I'm still happy with it. I'll take fiberglass in my hand over wet blankets any day. ๐

Cant believe it held
Wow. I bought this for a smaller less set up intensive version of my cabelas Alaskan for quick over night to two night campouts. I have a battery pack and cpap machine i have to take so i am very concerned about rain and live in kansas so we also get ridiculous winds. Well sure nough we had a scout campout this weekend and as it does on scout campouts it rained both nights. The girls used this tent and said night one that it was really dry and only the one that put her back on the wall instead of her back pack got wet. 3 (2 12 and 1 13 yo girls. 3 packs.) Then night two. They all slept in the middle. And it rained with 60 mph wind gusts. I was asleep in my alaskan until the thunder boomed real big one time. Then i heard the wind howling. So like a good dad and scout leader i poked my head out and checked and to my surprise the girls were still asleep and the tent, while moving about a bit in the massive wind gusts, was still standing and several other tents were flattened. So i went back to bed. In the morning i went and asked how they think this tent did and they all said It was fantastic. They and their gear stayed dry in all that wind and about 2โ of rain that fell. While we had two boys in other tents that were what I Used to use prior to my Alaskan and they got soaked. Let me be clear. This is NOT in any way the same as my alaskan. But i feel confident that I can take this on my 1-2 nighters with the boys and or scouts and not have to worry about the kansas wind or the rain. It will move a bit in the heavy winds but i never saw it go down. It has enough rigidity from the design and poles that it will hold up as long as you use all the guy lines and stake it correctly! And again as long as you don't sleep back to the wall you will stay dry. For the money, this is prolly the best tent under $300 I have ever owned. Well done KAZOO!!

Not waterproof... which is not what you want in a tent
I used this tent at the National Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia a few weeks ago. Had lots of sun, heat, and rain. And, unfortunately, that's when I found out (or confirmed from other reviews) that this tent is NOT completely waterproof. During the frequent storms I saw water seeping in through different sewn areas. Such as the toggle tabs that are used to secure the doors and windows open (when it's not raining, of course). They were dripping water through the stiches. Or, whenever ANYTHING touched the inside fabric of the tent during the rain, that item (like my pillow and bed roll) would just soak up water through the tent wall. I've never had a tent do that before. My other concern is the floor. It's just not a material that I would trust to be on the ground and constantly stepped and slept on. It's a pretty fabric, but in every other tent I've used, the floor is a tarp-type material that is tough. Many times when you camp you can't help but be on some rocks or maybe small pinecones. I believe that if this tent was on such a surface, your foot would cause rips when the floor scrapped over such rough items. Luckily on my recent trip, I was on lush grass. Final thoughts: This would be a good tent if you were on a completely dry camping trip with no rain expected. Or, maybe for a day trip at the beach. If you are camping on uneven or rough ground, I recommend you bring a ground tarp or ground cloth to protect the fragile looking floor (though I haven't seen any holes yet, because I camped on grass). It was quite easy to set up and take down the tent. 10 minutes for a single person, 5 for two people working together. No poles broke when I set it up twice. Perhaps I'm more careful than other users. Also, I think the manufacturer needs to offer an entire-tent rainfly instead of the little peak fly. Or, maybe we need to spray the entire tent with Scotchguard or other waterproofing stuff, though you'd think they would do that at the factory. This tent is pretty good with a few major flaws. I believe I kept the rainfly from my last tent that finally broke (the zippers all died)... I'll have to try using that with this tent to keep the rain out.

The perfect tent
Easy and fast to set up. Two people can do it in just a couple of minutes. I can set it up myself with this little trick. After I get two poles up, I zip tie them together to hold them while I get the third in place. It has two doors that can be all sealed up or you could have the window open with a screen still in place. You can also open the whole door and roll it up to the side. Use the tie backs that are already in place on the tent to hold the door open and out of your way. Donโt ever get in a hurry when zipping things closed!! The rain flaps are our friends. Be thankful they are there. Remember where they are and hold them out of your way while you zip so you wonโt jam up the zipper. Come on guys! You have zipped things up before!! When the rain flap is off you can look up and see the sky. The rain flap is super easy to put on and I have been inside during a rain storm and stayed perfectly dry. The bag that comes with it is plenty large enough to hold everything when packed. I also put a folded up tarp in the bag to lay down under the tent for a little more protection. The best part about this tent is that it is YELLOW! How fun is yellow! We can see it from far away and I just love my little yellow tent

This tent is fantastic!
This tent checked all the boxes of my must-haves. It's easy to set up and take down. It fits my camping cot and gear with plenty of room to spare. It has two doors and two windows for a total of four window openings with screens. The window coverings over the screens are on the inside which is fantastic and can be closed by zipping them up to provide privacy or to keep the rain and cold out. There is great cross ventilation with the window coverings unzipped and the screening at the top of the tent provides for additional air flow. The zippers work well and are quiet. The tent did well in the rain and there was no leaking. The gear loft provides for extra storage and is great for those small items. I would definitely recommend this tent!
