Does it cancel active and passive noises?

PC 8.2 has passive noise cancellation.

Hi. Can you move the mic all the way around, or is it designed so that it is always on the left side?

Always on the left .Though you have not asked may I also emphasise the outstanding sound quality ,much better than other much more expensive headsets by the same company or others .I am a conference interpreter :this one is by far my favourite .Hope it helps .

Does the wire make a crackling noise or noise of any kind when you move? This is the case with some wired headphones so just wanted to check.

No, no crackling or unwanted noise when moving the cable. Just good quality sound.

Can you buy the 2 Sponge -like circular items which are about 3 cm in diameter and which fit next to the ear?

Hello and thank you for your question. The earpads you´re looking for is called HZP 52 and are unfortunately currently out of stock. Hope this answers your question. Best Regards EPOS Support Team.
