Xislet 16.5" Radar Detector Hardwire Power Cord Mirror Wire Plug Tap Compatible with Escort Valentine One Uniden Beltronics with Inline Fuse Mount RJ11 - Set of 3

Picked up this Xislet mirror tap power cord set to hardwire my Valentine One radar detector in my '96 C4 Corvette. The cords are well made—sturdy build, good connectors. Only needed one for the install, but the extras gave me options for future installs without buying more. Plugged right in via the mirror wire tap—clean look, no dangling cigarette lighter mess—and it worked great: solid power, no drops or interference. Installation was straightforward. No complaints so far; great value for a tidy, permanent setup. Would grab again if needed.

Work as they should, seem to be pretty good quality

Easily installed today on a 2014 Carrera 4S Coupe. Nice to not have the radar detector (V1 Gen 2) plugged into the outlet in the glovebox, and the coiled cord dangling. The smallest connector blades are fragile and will break if they get bent enough times. Mine broke off as I was fiddling around trying to get the overhead light piece snapped back in - the connectors were being bent over due to the tight space. Trimmed away some of the heat shrink tubing to expose what was left of the connector blades, and was able to push them in and make it work.

Used the medium sized tap to plug into my Corvette C8 mirror (red-red, black-black), and it worked upon Engine start up. Did not work in ACC mode - but that's due to the car, not the taps - be sure to turn on the car to see it work! Included zip ties, instructions, and nicely braided cables. Great deal at 3 for 1/3 of the price of the 'name brand'.

Works well. Great price vs other brands. One point off as I replaced an existing cord and had to splice the wires to use the pins from the old cord as these pins were too wide to fit in the power connector.

Works just as advertised, I used it in my 25 Camry se and the wire helped mirror taping so there is no long wire hanging around. 100% would recommend

This was used on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. I did pin into the rear-view mirror connector. For my car the pins were the black wire for ground and the pink/yellow wire for hot. It was the harness with the smallest pins that worked immediately. My Uniden R7 lit right up. Prior to attaching this to the car I hooked it to my lab power supply to be sure it was wired right on all three assemblies and all were correct. The build quality of these harnesses are excellent. It is not cheap material and so far, it is reliable. Notes: 1- You will have to do the leg work to find the pin outs for your car. 2- There is the risk your car connector may not be pin-able. 3- Use the tie straps. This will protect the pins from getting damaged.
