Perfect and does the job for me.

Bought this for a week long tour and loved it at first, but eventually it rubbed my ear raw and I had to quit using it.

These are so painful that after only 10-15 minutes I have to switch it to the other ear. The "flatness" of the two sides (one that fits around the back of the ear, and the other that rests on the outside of ear canal) is so tight it doesn't allow for any of the thickness of the ear. This results in pinching so badly they become unwearable. It would be better if a harder plastic was used and contoured in the shape of an ear. I need something flat like this as I use it to listen to audiobooks on my iPhone to help me fall asleep at night, and earbuds fall out lying on my side. I was previously able to get a perfect solution for this, but it has been discontinued. Really bummed about this! Also, the sound isn't very good as the maxim volume could be higher, has static occasionally, and the cord on ones with the 90 degree elbow is very short... if you end up buying one of these get the style with the straight connector to the cord. They are about 10"-12" longer. Review update: I wrote this review and it has been about five days since it posted. I have been struggling with the ear phone during these past few days and I have noticed that every day that goes by it gets a little more flexible to the point that I can now wear it and it is much less painful. Apparently, like a leather shoe, there is a breaking-in period. I am now cautiously optimistic that this may work out after all!

Sound ok, but can not get loop to fit on ear. Over all useful.

Things that I like are …. Stays on the ear , outside of ear is a massive plus , cord is reasonably long and not stiff plastic may be silicone , voice is very clear ….. Things that I don’t like … Not stereo only mono , cord is flimsy and could be larger gauge , where the cord attaches to the speaker needs to be designed better , breaks at that spot every time . But it feels better than any earbud that you push in your ear . My ear doesn’t get sore . Especially if it’s being used for long periods of time . Not hot like headphones . Will continue to purchase until another better designed one comes along

This worked for a couple weeks then it started frequently losing audio - like wires were broken or something in the end which plugs into phone. I hope the Seller will contact me and make this right.
