4' x 6' Sport Leaf Tarp - 24 sq ft Yard Cleanup Tarp with 6 Handles & Ground Stakes for Raking, Garden Debris & Yard Waste Removal, Wind Proof

I was a bit skeptical when I first ordered this leaf cleanup tarp, but it has proven highly effective and increased my leaf gathering efficiency at least three fold. When you set it up, with the spring pole framing, it appears like the scoop of a front-end loader. It works best when anchored by its corner stakes on soft ground. But much of my surface cleanup on 2 acres is on hard surfaces so it's a bit more awkward, as you have to stand on the front of the tarp and use a rake like a gondola paddle, sweeping in between your legs (good exercise!). If you don't stand on the tarp on hard surfaces, your raked material goes under the front lip. It could be a bit sturdier, but it has held up fine in the first season. I don't drag it around on hard surfaces because it would wreck it pretty fast. I fill it up and attach it to some hooks on the back of a landscape golf cart and run it over to the leaf compost pile, unhook it, dump it out, and it's done. It's a great design for my needs since we have a compost area. I'd be willing to pay a little more for a more commercial, robust version of this design. This is way cheaper than buying a gas powered leaf vacuum system, which is what I was originally looking at.

This is my second year with the EZ Leaf Hauler. I have a big yard with tons of leaves. I have tried various methods of leaf removal over the years, and this tarp has been -by far- the BEST. A friend recommended it, and I am so glad that I got one last year. This year, however, tragedy struck when, mid-clean-up, one of the poles snapped. Luckily, the seller's customer service is outstanding. I contacted them to inquire if I could buy a new poles. Surprisingly, they sent me a new set qucikly and for free. Faith in humanity restored! It is rare to experience such amazing service and to find a seller who stands behind their products! I am very thankful to have this product, and I am grateful for the incredible customer care that I experienced. 5 out of 5 stars. No notes. ☺️

This item is quite a gem. It was easy to put together and holds leaves well, so they aren't falling out all over the place as I move them off the grass and into the woods. I would give this item 5 stars except for 2 things: The ends of the rods that hold the shape of the tarp, have worn through the little pockets they fit into. I was able to fix this with a good black electrical tape. And -- the fabric could be a bit thicker. I sometimes have to drag it across the driveway. It's getting worn and threadbare in some places, but I'll fix this with the black tape as well. It's such a good product, I don't mind fixing small areas to keep using it. These are just suggestions for making it last longer and be a bit more durable.

UPDATE AT END: This leaf dustbin is a really neat idea. My skeptical wife even agreed that this purchase was not a gimmick or gadget I fell for and it made it much easier to rake up the leaves than shoveling. Yet, after a single use of about 4 loads into the yard debris can the seam gave way and the pole poked through as you can see in the photos. It seemed that the stitching was poor. While disassembling to send back for an exchange I also discovered one of the poles was cracked. Awaiting a replacement to see if that was a fluke. If the replacement is also poor quality will be asking for money back. Perhaps a great idea, poorly executed. UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement and it suffered from the same defect. Is it too much to ask that this have strong seams and be properly stitched together? Sending back for refund. I would look elsewhere, but its too bad since it is a neat concept.

This is the second one of these I purchased; I now have them in both sizes. I truly love them for tons of different yard tasks. They are lightweight, easy to drag around, the stakes to secure them so the tarp doesn't fly away are key (also helps you get the leaves in, by keeping the edge taut). I also use them to mix soil amendments and drag those around. Yes, the bars will frequently pop out of their securing pockets, but that is a minor inconvenience, and sometimes I don't even bother, because they still hold the edges rigid even if one is loose. I leave it out in all the elements all winter long, which of course does break down the canvas finish, but the first one has been through two unprotected winters and I still use it. Great value for price, great all-use yard tool. Sometimes you need something bigger than a wheelbarrow and this is it for me.

I bought this because I have woods behind my house where I drag and dump tarps loaded with leaves and yard/garden waste, and was looking for a tarp with sides that would catch what I take onto it and would have some rigidity around the edges and a little bit of weight so it would stay down and not let the leaves get under it and not blow in the wind. This seemed like it. Biggest problem is the rods that they provide to inset into three sides are extremely cheap plastic, and after a month of use ALL are broken. A product like this needs MUCH sturdier rods. Second complaint is that the sides are too low. A lot of what I raked into the product just flew over. Should be six to 13 inches higher on all sides. Last complaint is that the one edge that doesn’t have a rod or some weight is the front edge you rake over, so you still have an issue with stiff going under, just like a tarp. On the positive side, the hauler is made of nice, heavy duty material that seems like it will hold up well, and the handles are strong and conveniently located. If I can replace the rods with something stronger this would be ok.

too small a tarp for the price the rod ends don't stay in the holder that's supposed to hold them, and they come apart inside which makes it hard to use. they keep sticking out
