Happy Hamster Pet with Wheel Runner Battery Operated Kid's Toy

Cute and fun to play with. Purchased for 5 y.o. and 7 y.o. They were delighted with the playability. Hamsters run on floor and in wheel. Hamsters are a nice size for kids, have soft fur and cute faces. The two-tone fur makes them look more realistic. All the fun with none of the work.

This is super cute and just a lot of fun! Such a cute purchase. So if you have kids or anyone with little kids that are begging for a pet, this cute little guy is just the perfect friend and companion. You can put it in a tank with it wheel and watch it run around the wheel, or you can let the battery operated hamster roll around on the floor. It does work on carpets, but it rocks kinda funny. Still cute though. So I actually got this little hamster for my cats. My cats like to hunt and chase (indoor cats) but there is nooooo way I'm getting a real hamster with my two cats loose in the house. The little critter wouldn't stand a chance. But this little happy hamster pet is just the perfect thing. My cats love it. They love to watch it spin on the wheel, and they can't help chasing it around on the floor. And no little innocent creatures sacrificed. If it's safe for kids, then it's safe for my cats. This helps my indoor cats get their much needed exercise. They love it, too. Such a cute purchase, couldn't be happier.

I purchased this for my friend since she's unable to keep a real pet alive, and i figure this just needs batteries. In any case for the price of under $3.00 i felt this was a steal. It's pretty easy to setup, get out of the box and use. You have to pull the battery compartment out via the velcro and use a screwdriver to put in a battery. If there is a negative, i'd say it's the fact it's a screwdriver to take out the battery vs. say using a tab or your hands. The hamster itself has uneven wheels which then makes it walk or waddle like a real thing. You can actually take it out of the hamster wheel and let it run on the carpet/floor and it will waddle around in a cute way. At work everyone we showed loved it and posted videos or pictures on facebook to show how fun it was. One coworker loved it so much she had me buy 30 more to giveaway at a kids birthday party.

It's purple. That's fine but my first one was a gift and essentially fell apart after a few years. I liked it enough to replace it.

This was purchased to go along with a book study at my elementary school. The kids absolutely LOVE it! Great quality for the price. I would definitely recommend to other teachers and parents.

This product worked exactly as described, though the base may need some support depending on what you are using it for. The product does not include batteries, so you will need to provide your own. Very easy to use. It is a little noisier than expected, but this was purchased to use on a booth at a busy conference, so the noise wasn't a bother for us.

At least this one did not arrive with a broken wheel.
