This is a perfectly decent skipping rope with soft, grippy, comfortable handles and, well, rope. It's been a while since I did any skipping and I'd forgotten how hard it is, both in terms of timing and physical effort. But if you're stuck at home for any reason, like during a pandemic, you need to keep fit and this will definitely help.

This offers a commendable skipping rope that has proven to be quite effective. I have previously experimented with numerous expensive ropes, none of which suited my needs. However, this reasonably priced option has worked exceptionally well for me.

Poor quality. Impossible to adjust the length. The normal way of unclipping the handle ends and moving the stop on each end of the rope is not possible. Therefore, completely useless.

I've been jumping rope since 2012. I skip 7 days a week. Usually 3,000 skips a day but sometimes 4,000 or even 5,000. I use my Amazon rope and a lighter Decathlon rope on alternate days. The Amazon rope has lasted me 4 months already (so 2 months of actual use). It's still in good shape. The foam on the handles is intact. The handle bearings are fine. There's no rust. So the build quality is excellent. I also like this rope because it is slightly heavier than the Decathlon rope. Like a heavy flywheel it allows me to skip steadily on all kinds of surfaces (good momentum). Because of the extra weight it also works out the arms and shoulders better. Highly recommended.
