I needed to mark nearly 5500 points on leather and tried several makers (all of which failed after a couple hundred marks) and I was getting discouraged until I found these markers. They created a slightly larger mark than I needed, but well within the requirements for my project. I opened 2 of the markers expecting them to give up after a short while like all the others, but, amazingly, after several hundred marks they were both still going strong leaving very distinct white marks. I finished the project - all 5500 marks, and both markers are still going strong - I expect I could do another couple thousand with no problem. This stuff is permanent, I 'slid' a couple times and the paint does not come off (luckily the marks were small and won't be noticed). The paint does dry fairly quickly - if you run your finger over the paint right after making the mark, it will smear, but if you wait (less than a minute) it is dry to the touch. Very pleased with these paint pens.

This is a repeat order for me, they are a great paint marker that I use to mark on dark backgrounds. They last a long time (other brands have dried out in a hurry) and that is good because they are well priced but they are not inexpensive - I get what I pay for!!! I will order these in the future.

For everyone saying these come dried out; these are paint pens. You have to “activate” them to get the paint to start to come out. They’re good paint pens! My only complaint is they’re not as opaque as I’d like.

Perfect tire paint pens! I was able to do 2 coats on all four tires with just one pen and still had ink left! I let dry for 2 days without any water/rain exposure and they are holding up well so far. I have driven in the pouring rain twice so far after painting and the coat has not been effected. I think for the money and how many pens you get it totally worth it. Ink flows well and takes a little getting used to when painting.

I buy A LOT of oil based markers, as I am a calligrapher. I have always used Sharpie brand before this purchase. I decided to try these based on positive reviews. Pros: the paint in these is opaque and works well on various surfaces. The point is actually superior to the Sharpies, in my opinion, as it’s slightly pointier than the Sharpie Fine, but also firmer, which is nice for detail work. Cons: the pens leaked all over my hand. While this isn’t typically a major issue if I am working from my studio, it would be a catastrophe if working off-premise. I think the downfall of these is that the place where the pen shaft itself connects to the point screws on. So as you grip it, it must get loose. I have applied duct tape over the connection point, but feel like construction in general should be better to avoid this from happening. It happened with 4 of the 6 pens in the pack.

It is kind of a pain to apply. It will smear or leak if you apply too much pressure on the point, but the result is worth the pain. I'm too lazy for this, but the best way to probably apply this will be to cover the outline of your tires letter with tape so you could paint over, without being worried to leak the paint in unwanted areas.

They have a picture showing this is good for tire paint and states it’s permanent. NOT PERMANENT!! Started to wash off first day after applying 4 coats, took two days to fully apply because I waited hours for it to dry before applying each coat. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR TIRE PAINT. Bad quality too the paint runs like crazy and leaks paint, I shook the pen and the tip came out. Terrible not happy at all

Works as advertised. Be patient with it and it works great on tires. Did not bleed or splatter. I shook the pen after every 2-3 letters when doing tires and it worked very well. Its easier to use when the wheels/tires and off the car.
