Cant go wrong with Makita!

Was weird, I wasn't sure what kind of brush attachment to get for my Makita XLC02Z convertible handheld/upright vacuum, so I did as much research as possible and settled on this. It fits correctly, which is all I could have asked for. The construction quality seems good, I've had it for several months and the bristles and housing are both holding up well. No complaints!

Brush attachment is much smaller than I anticipated from the picture. Unit measures 2-1/2" across the long dimension, making it a little too small for my needs. Makita should make a basic attachment that is a perhaps 4-5 inches wide, rigidly mounted to the pipe, and with no bristles for general cleanups.The floor attachment that comes standard with the vacuum machine is 8-3/4" wide, has a flexible joint where it connects to the pipe, has little rollers underneath and is meant for house floors. Well and good, but I need something smaller for detail jobs like cleaning your car interior.I probably wouldn't buy it again if I was to do it over again. Instead, I would seek out a slip-on attachment as I've described above at a local vacuum store since the diameter has to be just right.One nifty thing about this brush that isn't in the description is that it can swivel where the tube meets the head. It is a friction-type joint, so you can make it straight as shown in the picture, or twist the joint to make a 90 degree bend. Not sure how useful that might be, but it is an option.

I love my little Makita vacuum. It comes with several attachments - Crevice Nozzle (451240-7), Floor Nozzle (122858-8), Extension tube (451424-7). I found that I could use this Round Brush Attachment (A-37471), so I bought it.All of the Makita components are made of bright white rigid plastic; however, this component appears to be made of a slightly softer plastic that is a little on the yellow side. Hey, it works fine, and it's a vacuum cleaner, so matching components isn't a big deal. マキタの電動工具は大好きでいろいろ持っています。しかし、掃除機までマキタにする必要ない、などと思って興味もありませんでした。けれども、１８Vのバッテリーも充電器も幾つかあって、本体だけならば7,000円だったので試しに購入。するとどうでしょう「うわぁ、超便利」とびっくり。バッテリーが重いといえば重いですが、総重量としては軽い軽い。そして仕事能力も強力。本体には標準ノズルと細口だけしかついていないので、フレキシブルホースと棚ブラシもついでに購入。これまたあると超便利。つくりはまぁチャチなもんですが、しかし非常に有能です。車内の掃除、家の掃除、仕事場の掃除に大活躍。あ、このラウンドブラシあると空気清浄機や扇風機のホコリ取りもらくらくですよ。
