Good product that in my use is more effective than the rooting powders on the market. I use when rooting fig tree cuttings and this product definitely increases my success and gets me rooted in less time. Highly recommend.

I’ve always used powder- it’s efficient, unbothered, & doesn’t cling like a jealous lover. But after watching a YouTuber dip dozens of African violet leaves into Clonex with ease, and elegance, I finally gave in. The gel? Violet, glossy and very clingy. You’ll know exactly where it touched- because it sticks -a lot! Too much, really. I went through half the jar on a few stems. It’s thicker than expected and not very viscous, & for the price, that’s disappointing. Ease of use? Sort of. Economical? Not at all. I may use a paint brush to apply it next time. But honestly? I’ll probably go back to powder. Clonex is fine. Just not for the frugal.
