I've been buying these gloves for several years and can vouch for their toughness as I work in a nature reserve all year and they stand up to all manner of pricklies,bramble,hawthorn,nettles etc. They don't wear out quickly,a pair can last me months.

Bought for dealing with some old brambles that laughed at my existing gloves, which let the thorns through front and back, despite being made of thick leather. These gloves are excellent. They have dealt with the thorns without a problem, can't be penetrated front or back, fit well and are comfy. They fit so well and are so flexible that I don't mind wearing them all day. I usually take gardening gloves off as soon as I don't need them. Well worth the money and would buy again. Recommended.

PACK OF FOUR?! I was expecting four pairs of gloves not four gloves! So a star lost for that. They look and feel good. Be accurate with measuring your hands - I ordered large because I was between M and L, and the large is perfect. I'll update review with functionality and robustness after I've given the gloves a good try. UPDATE: Now had two long days of hard use. Protected my hands well from thorns and general abrasions. Robustness seems good. OK you don't have as much dexterity as with e.g. nitrile gloves but these give much more protection from injury.

Good quality leather gloves

I've bought 8 pairs of these. They are soft and more durable than most other gloves. Good fit for large hands. Comfortable to wear, and a good price. Not waterproof, I'd say keep dry.

I’m a Arborist (Tree Surgeon). Our job is brutal on workwear. I use these gloves daily, except for climbing. I’ve got 6 months heavy use out of each pair. Just ordered another set. They offer reasonable protection from Blackthorn and Hawthorn, unless you full on grasp the branches they stop the worst of the thorns. The tanning does make your hands go yellow in the wet but that’s typical of anything leather. Nice, comfortable loose fit but fitted enough that I still have control with a Chainsaw. I’m a size 10 glove (shovel hands) and I get a Large.

I think claiming these are thorn "proof" may be going a little far, however they are fairly resistant to thorns. Having used these to clear out multiple bramble bushes during a garden renovation, I can definitely say these were a good buy. They are hard wearing, and I've put them through a fair bit of work pulling out long vines, brambles, and using them when lopping small trees. They've stood up to everything so far, so quite happy with the quality. They are also quite comfortable, even taking into account the fact that folded leather it always a little fiddly on the fingers. Overall quite happy, and would buy another pair of these gloves in the future if needed.

Was a gift for a family member who is a keen gardener, she was happy with them, and specifically chose this brand becuase they'd be good when she was pruning.
