Q: Whats the point of this junction box? Wny not have the converter in same box....?

Hello Lindy, thank you for your question. The junction box is used to convert a plug in fixture into a direct wire fixture. Direct wire conversion eliminates cord clutter and allows you to control all connected lights from one switch.

Q: Why do I need this? Can’t I just splice the power cord and run it to a light switch?

You need it to connect to the connector on the lights. You can splice, but, that is generally unsafe even when done carefully. This is the right way to do it and is a simple snap in to connect.

Q: How do you connect the “led bright strips” to this junction box? what part number is the cord/connector?
