Levi's Women's Classic Capris

I come from the generation that wore low waisted jeans growing up, so I’ve never experienced high waisted jeans before. Now I don’t see how I will ever go back. The material was great. There was a snag on it already when I opened it, but that is an easy fix. I usually am a size 0/1 for jeans, but I thought with the high waisted I should try the bigger size. They were a little too lose for me, but they didn’t fall down. They are also longer on me than I thought, so if you are 5’4” beware it will hit you mid calf.

I’m 61 and my lifestyle is casual. I usually wear 10/12 in pants. I bought a size 10 and this capris (to my delight) stretch during the day. My skin is sensitive and living in the south, I don’t want to wear anything tight. The bottom of these capris flare and have a slit on the sides. I like to wear these capris with a loose button down shirt and Sketchers flats or sandals. Comfy and cool!

The style is super cute. Perfect mid rise waist and mid calf length for 5’6”. I liked the darker wash enough that I purchased the middle child and white as well. Across the different colors the sizing is not consistent. The darker wash is looser in waist and hips than the white and looser in the waist than the middle child wash. The white doesn’t have any polyester so not as much stretch as the denim washes. The middle child wash is the softest and seems to have the most stretch. I’m going to wash the 2 denim washes in hot water for a few washes and see if that helps the fit. Overall though great quality as you would expect from Levi’s.

The stripes are really cute. The capris are stretchy with a fit like a jegging, but they didn’t stretch out too much over the course of the day. I am 5’3”, and the length is just a bit long on my legs. The first pair I received had size 12 tags inside and out, but I couldn’t pull them up past my knees! I returned that pair and ordered another size 12. The replacement pair fits perfectly. I also own these capris in the various blue denim shades. Though they are somewhat stretchy, they fit more like jeans rather than jeggings. The size 12s in the denim shades also fit as expected.

This are cute capris or if you fold down the cuff they are ankle jeans with a small flare. Not tight on your legs. Run a little bit large so I had to return my normal size and order a size smaller and these fit great. They have a little stretch to them, very comfortable. The color is not quite the same but a nice blue. Would recommend.

I LOVE Levis. Best product for the price. However, Levis is going the less cotton way like every other jean manufacturers. I don't mind a little stretch as I get older, but sometimes you can have too much. My waist is not proportionate to my booty/legs so every jean that fits in the waist is too tight down below. Because of all the stretch in the waist, as I walk, the tightness in the legs pulls them right down and off my hips. If I buy a size bigger to compensate for my lower area, the waist is HUGE and I have the same problem with them falling down so I can't win. Also, the calf is tighter than the legs and rear and then flares past the slit on the sides. I do believe these are true to size. The material is thicker than other brands and of good quality and very comfortable. If the added stretch did not pull the waist down, I would rate these a 5.

I had some Levi's Slim Capris (that they no longer make) that I LITERALLY wore out..were my favorite "shorts" to wear for probably 10 summers! So after hunting in vain for them online, decided to try these, and they fit beautifully!!! I'm middle aged and normal size and the fit is very flattering...plus my sister, who is a little heavier, tried them on and they looked pretty good on her, too. Wish the price was a little lower and had a lighter blue and a darker blue, but love them!

I already have the same exact pair that I bought last year, and I ordered 2, and they were both too big. One, I stored with my fat clothes, and one I wear occasionally. Not too bad with a belt. By 'fat clothes' I mean I was in a size 22. I am currently in a size 14. I went from an 18 to a 14. in 4 months. So, it got expensive buying pants. I gave my sister my 18s and stored my 16s. And if I go into a 12, I will more than likely store my 14s. just in case. :-)
