3rd Party AC Power Adapter (Atari 2600)

I have an old Atari 2600 and I was curious to see if it would still work. I bought this power adapter as well as an adapter piece for the coax on the tv. I got it all hooked up, I turned it on, and it still works! :) The power adapter arrived in perfect condition, straight in the packaging. Well worth the small cost of $11 to get the old game system up and running again.

works alright but be warned, as the cable is only about 3' in length!! I wish I read the fine print, but I guess i'll just have to use an ext cord ugh..

Plugged it in and my Atari 2600 booted right up with no problems. The cable is super long and can be very convenient. As others have said its not exactly what is in the picture but the quality is just as good!

I bought this adapter for an Atari 2600 that I bought from an online auction site that doesn't start with an "e" and rhymes with "hood bill." It didn't come with a power supply, so I needed a replacement and purchased this. It works well and the cord is neither 14 nor 2 feet long. Mine is about six feet long, connects well, provides ample power to the console, and I feel safe using it. Overall, I am happy with it, but the item could be cheaper for what it is. Additionally, the cord could be thicker, but it may not make a difference in performance.

I ordered this 3rd Party cord from seller "dealcharged" because I needed a long cord. The description said 14 ft long cord, but the cord length was maybe 2 ft!!! When I received it, it looked absolutely nothing like the one pictured (see 1st attached picture). I understood it was a 3rd party cord and not an original Atari cord, but I bought it because of the 14 ft length. As you can tell in the picture, the cord lengths are much different! 2nd attached picture is the actual cord I received. Save yourself some hassle and do your due diligence and double check with the seller and make sure it is what they say it is before you order it! I am very disappointed to say the least!

You are not getting the pictured adapter. I believe they should have to tell us that in the description. So yes, I was disappointed. *** You can read the input information on the product you need an adapter for- amps watts volts and probably buy one cheaper. You may even have one already from another device! *edit* I noticed the price went down. If you need an extra one, I guess that's a decent price. When I purchased mine, I paid around 14.00. ------- 9.99 and 3.99shipping. (10.00 is why I thought I was buying the Atari name)

I dug my old Atari 2600 out of my storage, and to my dismay the power adapter had been lost over the years. I found this replacement and a few minutes after it arrived I was re-living my childhood playing the old classics on my Atari 2600.
