Perfect for Introducing Baby to Solids!
This baby food nurser is super handy and easy to use! It’s perfect for introducing purees and thicker foods without making a mess. The soft silicone tip is gentle on my baby’s gums, and it’s easy to squeeze the right amount of food out. Cleaning is simple too — all the parts come apart easily. My special needs child can continue to taste his food.
I have a special needs child who has an open jaw. What that means is that his teeth do not meet when he chews food. We have to puree his food. While feeding with a spoon is messy and very time-consuming. Since he also has trouble using his tongue to guide the food in his mouth to be swallowed, this was wasting food. He has severe CP. We needed an alternative. We have been using an old Nubi feeder with a plunger to push the food up (they are no longer made), which is on its last leg. So I have been trying to find a replacement so that he can still enjoy tasting food. The alternative is tube-feeding watered-down slop that is very unappealing. This worked wonderfully. I took one star off because it doesn't come with handles for him to hold. I had to order Dr. Brown's silicone handle separately. They also need to make replacement nipples available for Amazon customers.

Constantly having to push the food up
I was excited for this because my older children used feeders like this but those the food would move as the baby sucked. This product is not something the baby can do by their self because you have to keep pushing the food up and it’s doesn’t move easy

Los compre porque mi sobrina siempre terminaba ensuciada al comenzar a probar las papillas, pero iniciamos con el que parece biberón y la hora de comer papilla se volvió fácil, rápida y limpia, lo sostenemos mientras ella come a su ritmo. Al ser practico de usar cualquiera puede alimentar a la bebé si su mama esta ocupada, además que no es pesado.
