I really love this WolfWise instant sun shelter. I'm not new to instant sun shelters, I currently own a Lightspeed Seaside quick shelter that I bought 3 years ago but my kids are now 6 years old and we needed a bigger one, so I got the WolfWise 4 person shelter. Highly recommended and I can see this fitting a family of 4 easily. (I attached pics showing the WolfWise 4 person instant sun shelter next to my smaller Lightspeed Seaside 2 person instant sun shelter for comparison in size and portability because I wanted to highlight how much more space you gained while keeping a similar packed size) Packed up, it's super portable and packs well in the car for taking to the park, beach, relative's house, etc. I was surprised that The WolfWise 4 person wasn't bigger than my Lightspeed 2 person when packed up. I was sceptical that getting a larger shelter would be bulky but this was not the case at all. It's quite light, even my 6 year old can carry it. I LOVE that the instructions are sewn in to the inside of the carry bag and that the bag unzips lengthwise and has properly sized carry handles. My Lightspeed 2 person also had instructions but the drawstring bag made it slightly harder to see and pack up. You won't need them after the first couple of times but if someone else is setting it up, this can truly take the guesswork out of it. The set up is super easy. I recommend watching the WolfWise video that shows how to set up and put away the shelter, the video is at the end after you scroll through all the product pictures. I do feel that some user videos over complicate things. The two things to pay attention to is a) straighten the legs before raising the canopy and stand "behind" the shelter when you pull it up to open, then make sure to lock it in place. It takes me about 30 seconds to set up, about a minute to pack away (since I like rolling them up nice and tight to make it easier to fit in the carry bag). A bonus surprise is that the floor flap doubles as a zippered privacy door, so you can change inside. I didn't see a single picture showing this and found it quite by accident when I noticed the double zipper in the front opening. The three mesh windows also zip up so you can leave it open for ventilation or closed for privacy or to block off sun. There's a hanging hook on the top and mesh storage pockets under each window as well as near the roof. There's 3 generous sand bags on the outside (you can fill it with sand if you set it up on the beach), I usually place the included tent stakes in one of the sand bags so they don't get misplaced or forgotten. There are also wind ropes but I typically get by with setting up stakes only as the mesh windows allow air to blow through and it stays in place as long as it is staked down. In conclusion, really a great sun shelter. No complaints with anything. I thought my Lightspeed 2 person from 3 years ago was amazing but this one is truly better and the details like a zippered carry bag vs drawstring, folding legs (to allow it to pack smaller), zippered front for privacy and the spring locking mechanism make this a great recommendation! Wife and kid(s) approved!

We are ‘ultralight’ beach people and this sets up in roughly 60 secs. Sand bag sections make it feel more secure than with the stakes alone which is great on a windy day! It weighs like 5 lbs-maybe less, SUPER light. Fairly spacious, it’s perfect for two large people -I’m 6’ my man is 6’2” and we are not skinny, it’s about the width of a queen sized bed. It offers enough “cubby” spaces for a few bags and a decent sized cooler/lunch pale. I love the bright teal color, you can see it easily from the water and it doesn’t get lost in the color shuffle of other setups and the texture is typical tent fabric. LOVE the breeze through windows, air flow is PERFECT. No hassle setup, fits back in the carry bag like a dream so it’s not a fight when you’re tired at the end of beach day. Functions well for its simple purpose and provides good sun protection/shade.

This beach tent is incredible! I have been looking for a tent big enough for my family of 4 this summer and I am so glad I found it. It is fairly easy to put together (I was able to set it up within 5 minutes). I highly recommend to get an extra hand to set up if the day is windy, but once up it's incredibly sturdy and stays in place. My two toddlers loved playing in the tent which allows for a nice break in the shade. My favorite part was being able to pull the 3 mesh windows, which we pulled down when changing my toddler's diapers for some privacy. We also used the mesh windows to allow for my daughter to take a quick nap protecting her from the sunlight. Taking down the tent takes a little bit more time, but with practice it becomes pretty easy. Once packed it is easy to carry and takes very little space in the trunk. Highly recommend for everyone, especially for families with young kids!

The tent is pretty easy to setup. It basically opens like an umbrella, you just have to remember to unfold two support rods before opening its umbrella. It is a little tricky to fold back up since the umbrella mechanism is spring-loaded and wants to open right back up as you're trying to gather up all of the rods and fabric. Still, I was able to fold it up within 5 minutes or so. It's described as being a 3 to 4 person tent but I'd say it's more suited for 1 or 2 people, unless you want to feel really cramped. It's very lightweight and, when folded, is pretty compact and easy to carry. I'd still prefer a shoulder strap rather than just handles, just to make it slightly easier to carry when carrying a bunch of other items to the beach. But it's still manageable, even with just handles.

We purchased this beach tent for our kids at the lake, so they could escape from the sun. Due to wildfires, plans were cancelled. But we did set it up when we got it and found that it was very large inside. I believe it had along mat that extended from the front and served as a door, that could be zipped up all around enclosing the tent. Two adults could sleep inside and plenty of room for 3 kids to sleep too. Windows opened all around. There was pockets all around that could be filled with sand to keep it from blowing away and tent pegs also to hold it down. It was really easy to set up. It was set up in 5 to 10 minutes. (?) I'm writing this in November, remembering from July. The first time taking it down and folding it back up to put it back in the bag was an entirely different matter. It took much longer ... maybe 30 minutes to figure out the folding of the arms. So when you are setting it up, take note how you unfolded the arms, so you know how to fold them back up again in the same manner. Next time, we'll pay better attention to this. Once we figured out the folding of the arms (whatever you call them ... poles?), then rolling it up was pretty straight forward and not difficult. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase. We may not have been able to use it summer of 2021, but we are hoping to be able to use it in summer 2022.

This tent is spectacular. It’s so easy to set up, and surprisingly easy to put away in its bag. The only reason for one less star is that the material and stitching does not seem durable. Seems like it won’t make it through a full two summers of use but we shall see. The bag also arrived with a tear in it

Quedo satisfecho con el producto, sin embargo no es muy fácil embalarlo, requiere mucha destreza. Si no se embala correctamente tiende que al instalarlo tiende haber muchas arrugas en la tela, esto le da muy mal aspecto y demerita la la calidad, debe de haber armonía entre la tienda y el lugar donde se desplega la carpa. Si hay armonía hay descanso y relajación, eso es lo que busca uno al salir de paseo al campó, a la playa o inclusa hacer deporte.
