As phones can get warm/hot while charging , is the station protected

The station is made completely of Bamboo. The phones or tablets are separated from each other and held in place/ supported by vertical bamboo partitions. The spaces between items are quite generous and any heat is dissipated. I have not been aware of any problems caused by heating of apparatus. I have used the charging station without any problems for several months.

This is ( merely) a wooden device to hold tablets and mobile phones as well as an apple watch. Users connect each device with their own leads to any charger. I do not think this holder needs CE approval. I presume your leads and chargers might need to be.

What charger should I use?

This device (merely) holds your devices (safely). The user has to connect each device to a charger of their own choice via a lead.

Hi, what width are each of the iPad charging gaps? Our children have quite big iPad protectors and the last plastic multi stand just snapped.

The two wider gaps on the right hand side for iPad or similar are approx one inch wide. You can get a relative comparison of the width from the Apple watch charger on the left hand side. I do keep an iPad complete with case in this holder securely and without difficulty. As the "charging station" is made of wood, it is unlikely to break or snap and is solid enough to hold the weight of the iPad.
