These Samsung replacement remotes work great. They immediately connected without any pairing needed which is such a bonus if you are not tech savy. They are priced reasonably. We have a 9 month pup that loves to steal and try to eat remotes. The only downfall I can find is they are very difficult to open to change batteries. I have found I have to use a knife to start to pry it open in order to slide the back off to reveal the batteries. I think a little bit more consideration could be put into the design of the rear cover, besides that, no complaints.

Popped in the batteries and we were back in business.

just as advertised, I put batteries in and it worked right out of the box! BUT----GETTING THE BACK OFF COST IT A STAR! After reading what every did to get the back off, i had to find another way than pry it off with a screwdriver. I put a piece of duct tape on the back and that gave me just enough grip to slide it off.

This one works very well.. Bough 2 others replacement and din not work. The response is good and no issue with navigation of the channels. So far all is well....

We finally managed to get both of these remotes open to install the batteries and they worked great! The issue was getting the backs off so we could do the battery installation. One of them resisted at first but, after about 10 minutes, the back finally slid off. However, the second one was really a challenge! We finally resorted to taking a manicure tool all the way around the seam where it slides off and only then did it slide off. Now it has scratches all over around the seam but it works and that's all that counts. The design is very poor because the whole back slides, including the sides so when you are holding it in your palm to slide it, you are actually working against the sliding motion with the other hand. Odd concept to say the least!

My Samsung remote (which looks almost identical to this - minus the Amazon and Prime buttons) was chewed on by my new puppy. So I had to search out some cheap replacements. I received this one today and really want to like it, but it arrived dead, so I can’t. I switched out batteries three times thinking g it might be that. Nothing. No lights, nada. I tried to hold in the “back” and the “play/pause” buttons to sync, still nothing. Not a single button does anything. Hopefully the seller sees my review and reaches out to me. If so, I will update my review. **Update** the seller responded to my message and they sent another remote out and had me set up the return for the dead one. I received it today. This one did work right away, with no syncing. Upgrading my review to 3 stars instead of 1. No higher because the Netflix and Prime buttons do not work (along with the Roku button, which I wasn’t expecting), the top right button, and because of the slight delay after pressing buttons. I do miss the speak button so may need to look into an alternative eventually. Since I use a Nvidia Shield, the loss of those buttons isn’t huge, since I use those apps from within the Shield and not the TV version of them. But it does still impact the rating I’m giving because they don’t work at all, and my TV is on the list. **Update 2** - have had the replacement remote for a few days. Observations. If you don’t have a clear line of site to the TV, it won’t work. I’ll be on my couch and my laptop will be on the coffee table. If the remote is behind that, it won’t do what I tell it. Little things. But the price is still worth it for now.
