Adds a little something to some of the more precisely apportioned cocktails.
Nice quality and the added gum arabic makes for a nicer texture than just pure sugar syrup, which is ideal for some cocktail recipes. I used it to make a Lemon Drop Martini, for which I got great feedback from the people I served it to. A little on the expensive side, considering it is predominantly sugar and water, so if I was needing a larger quantity I would probably look to make this recipe myself, as I already make my own basic sugar syrup, but for a small batch need, this was ideal. It also appears to have a pretty long life, of around 18 months, although I doubt that is true once it is opened. But hey, all the more reason to consume more cocktails this summer!!
