Can you produce grinds in between the coarse, medium, or fine settings (does the knob lock into one of these three positions, or allow for any range in between)?

It is knob and can grind from cours to fine and everything inbetween, it has notches but the rang is much more then three settings.

Does not come with a brush. Coffee sits in a large space. Easy to clean.I love it!!

How does it perform for course grounds for french press?

I use it for French press and it does alright on the most course setting but you still get some fines.

How much can you fit into the whole bean holder? Can it hold a pound of beans before grinding?

That is unfortunate - the bean area size.... I have a BUNN grinder this style I purchased at a Starbucks store in Seattle about 1994... It holds over half a pound. It's lasted me 20 years and been one of my most prized possessions! It still works, still grinds, but, the blades are just toast.

dont buy this product

Took lot of time for the seller to deliver the product. Very disappointed after receiving the product as this works with 110watts power and is not suitable for Indian conditions. No such info was there in the product description. Don't buy this product. Complete waste of money.

Bought this due to brand equity of Amazon and DeLonghi ...

Bought this due to brand equity of Amazon and DeLonghi. Both the brands have failed for me in this experience. I am shocked that Amazon allowed one product to be sold through its India unit which doesn't comply to India voltage standards and additional converter has to be purchased. When I put the beans to grind, it completely stopped working and when I looked for service centers in Mumbai (India) at the manual and online, I found none. Never expected this from two brands of such repute.

Not durable

Disappointed in the product. struggles to grind after just 6 months of use. The fine/coarse dial had become inaccurate and inconsistent.
