My three year old grandson loves this puzzle although it is already too easy for him. He can n as me all of the states and puts it together quickly

My son and I love this as its educational and entertaining. Fav toys for sure. Love that its a set so he learns diff things. He learned all if it super fast. Only thing and maybe because he was rough with it, the back parts wood....started to split n break off. But he did play with it a lot each day and stepped on it. Otherwise would recommend for sure and would get it again.

This puzzle set is a great value. It includes bright, colorful, sturdy pieces and a long playbook that keeps kids entertained. The pieces are just the right size—big enough for little hands but easy for a 4-year-old to use on their own. The magnetic feature is very helpful. Exceptional puzzles for two steps up from big floor puzzles and easy puzzles, to this which does take some thinking to figure out where these more oddly shaped pieces go for the Outer Space puzzle. Our 7 and 9 year old grandkids were up to the challenge and did them mostly themselves but grandma stayed handy to help as needed. The USA puzzle has a picture of each state the same shape as each puzzle piece. And the Countries puzzle as well, but there were a LOT of pieces to both of those so they also were engaging and enough of a challenge for the kids to do on their own. The 9 yr old is autistic and this has been his first year for staying engaged with anything other than trains as trains have taken the central focus of his life up till now and still has a strong hold on his attentions. (Actually, I wish we could find an affordable train puzzle of this caliber!)

I was worried when I read some other reviews that said the puzzle pieces do not fit in very well, but I took the chance and bought it for my kids. And I'm glad I did! They all fit perfectly and they even designed it with spaces to put your finger in to get the pieces out, which I think is very thoughtful. The pieces are thick and sturdy, so I can let my 1yo play with it without worrying she will bend or break the pieces, and I expect it to last for years. The edges are also smooth so I'm not worried about my kids getting splinters. As for the picture, I love that the base and the pieces have different but matching info that is great for learning. For example: the US map one has the capital cities in the base and state names in the pieces; the world map show the region's animals on the base and landmarks on the pieces; the solar system shows facts about the planets on the base and the planet names on the pieces. The puzzle also comes with a bag to keep it all nice and tidy. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase!

Aside from just learning US and world geography, there are so many lessons that are simultaneously taught, including shape matching, reading names, putting puzzles together, etc. Of course, you can also add so much more if you're working with the child instead of just letting them do it on their own, but they can do that as well. For our two 5-year-old grandchildren, we also talk about who we know who in our family lives or was born where, what products the state produces, and the geographical and climate features of each state, etc. It's the basis for whatever you want to teach and it starts the process of them understanding so much more about the world than just their immediate surroundings. Of course, they don't understand everything, but it makes a great foundation for long-term understanding. Our granddaughter can now tell you the names and locations of all the major use rivers and mountains, about 20 state capitols from memory, and can recognize and place each state by name. Of course, she has little actual understanding of what she's learning, but that can come later... and she has fun with this. It's the first toy she grabs out of her box when we come over.

Love these but our space themed puzzle is a little messed up. One piece definitely fits the shape but is the wrong pattern. Didn’t realize until the “Easter bunny” left these out. Also wish I had gotten the magnetic version!
