Quick Read + Practical Prompts
The content in this book is straightforward, easy to understand and very practical. I’m a new manager and bought this book to learn about difficult personalities in the workplace, how to identify such personalities and how to deal difficult behaviors. I feel a little more confident to spot and manage difficult personalities at work using the tips and techniques provided in this book. Content can be a bit overwhelming. Highly recommend for new managers.

Pretty basic/superficial
+ Easy read - Very general coverage of the topic and not as deep in the research/supporting data as I would have liked. Not sure if that’s because the underlying research/data in the area is lacking. - The author twice glosses over the situation when a problem employee is entrenched and cannot just be removed.

I just started the first chapter and already highlighting quotes I'm going to use in my letter I'm drafting to give to HR at my job. Great tips on how to deal with coworkers. Bought this book because I feel like I work with a bunch of psychiatric patients

Intro on some of the difficult personalities, this book has scenarios on how to respond.
This book explains how each difficult personality behaves and how to respond, also lists scenarios(positive/negative reinforcement method) on how to respond to each personalities. Wish this book has more pages though, author can easily stretch to 400 pages, if exploring further into each and every of personalities. It only skims the surface for this book.

I like the suggestions for dealing with the different workplace personalities. These suggestions make sense. I intend on putting this information to use.

Good but poor value for money
Well written and useful but it's 96 pages in large font, with lots of white space. I read it in 65 minutes. If I'd paid £7 I'd have given five stars.
