Beautiful statue of Kali Ma. I am very happy with the purchase

I have never written a review of any of the hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of things I buy here every month but I need to on this. This statue is stunning...absolutely beautiful for its size. ..well and thoughtfully painted....worth every penny and more! Kali’s HUM Sweet Kali dancing, firelight’s scalding tongues, skulls strung, alight, the fire lapping at her feet, her mocking smile dark, bittersweet... Fierce Goddess rips through wayward air, a part of God that’s black of care, while daemon shades surround her feet, prostrate themselves, then offer meat... She slashes gleaned, emblazoned light with triune sword of frightful blight, flails weeping drums that all ensnare, spills red-rich milk to nourish prayer... She is the lava from the rock, the lover’s kiss before the shock, the blinding song of dawn’s soft caul, the terror as it drips nightfall... This is an excellent product for the price point. It's not heavy but the details are beautiful and though it's not large it is bigger than I expected. (For reference, it's just a bit shorter than a 12 oz can of soda). I have it on a long console table with other, larger goddesses and crystals and She is not lost in the mix. Again, for the price I am more than happy with the size and quality.

The statue is some kind of thick plastic or resin from what I can tell, so it is lightweight & decent quality for the price. The hair wasn't colored in all the way in certain areas, leaving me to speculate that it was likely painted rather quickly. When you're up close to it you can tell that it isn't metal due to the matte finish but for the prce I can't complain. For now, the goddess will serve her purpose just fine being placed inside my home mandir मंदिर.
