At the beginning of each chapter it tells you when each book of the Bible was written, and who wrote it and to whom they wrote it. It’s a nice little history of each book before you read each book. It’s really nice to see that information because it helps to understand the context. It’s a beautiful Bible. I bought this brown one for my son and my husband has the black one and I have the white one. I highly highly recommend this version of the Bible and this exact Bible for that matter. Buy it! Absolutely beautiful
The bible is absolutely beautiful! Once I got it I laser engraved my name on it and it turned out great. It’s faux leather but great quality. Absolutely love it

Great Bible
This Bible is beautifully made and feels great in hand. The brown leathersoft cover looks clean and durable, and the comfort print makes it easy to read for long periods. The layout is well organized and the pages are good quality without feeling too thin. It has a nice balance of readability and portability. Makes a great gift and a solid everyday Bible.

This is the right bible for you
This bible is absolutely perfect. Not compact but good travel size. NRSV version is easier to read for modern times. Good for bible study. Outer print is embedded not printed, so no chance of paint wearing off. Print is a good size. Map in the back is bright and of quality. Highly recommended bible. I purchased other items so it was boxed, but I could see how edges could bend if shipped in an Amazon bubble bag if driver’s not careful. Book is protected in a sleeve.

Wonderful gift for those who do not have a Bible
I purchased this Catholic edition Bible for a resident at an assisted living center for seniors. At a Bible review session at the facility I learned that he is a practicing Catholic but did not own a Bible. I purchased this Bible for him and he was so excited to receive it. He eagerly placed tabs in the book, separating the books of the Bible. I’m so happy he now has a Bible that he can follow along during the Bible sessions and read on his own time.

This bible is a good size,font is readable, the cover is soft, the book lays flat in my hands, there is only one ribbon as the pictures show 2 which was disappointing. But I love it. Great buy and a great price.
