Banlangen TEA , Fufang Banlangen Keli , 15 Individual Sachets - 3 Pak

My acupuncture doctor gave me a couple of bags when I showed up for an appointment with a cold. She is from China and recommends it to her patients. I was skeptical, of course but this stuff works wonders on a sore throat and my cold symptoms were very mild after taking it so I keep a bag at home now. It is very sweet and has a mild taste, not bitter like Chinese green tea. I recommend it to everyone now.

Best if you drink frequently, builds up your immune system. Great to drink when you do not feel well, or feel that cold coming on. It's sweet tasting, my kids like it,but not my husband 🙃.

Always tastes good to me. I think I have had the new batch once as I was afraid it might go offvmarket.

I started drinking banlangen to treat cold symptoms in my many trips to Asia. This stuff works wonders with head and respiratory colds. At the first hint of a cold, drink 3 cups a day. Most of the time, I don’t even get the cold. It ups it in the bud.

There was a joke in China that "Banlangen is a magical drug which can cure all diseases." Of course this is a joke. But in some level, it can relief the cold and flu symptoms. It is a common used traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in China during flu seasons. ( Note: this is not a FDA approved drug, and can not be a substitute to any medicine your doctor prescribed you)

I use this whenever I have congestion in my chest, and it helps to relieve that congestion for a period of time. If I start using it immediately after symptoms, I feel that it helps me to recover quicker. It was recommended by my acupuncturist.

I ordered this as wenxin keli is good for the heart condition of AFib. I could not find wenxin keli, but this tea is close. However, the first ingredient listed is White Sugar, which is very bad for the heart. Therefore, I can't use it, so I had to throw it out. The last thing I expected to see in Chinese herbal tea is sugar. You learn something new every day.
