Flavorful but smooth
I like tahini a lot -- I use it in cooking, but I also will eat it on sandwiches if I can find the right brand. But buying tahini can be kind of hit-and-miss ... Some tahinis really taste like sesame seeds, but they are somewhat chunky, which may not be ideal for mixing with other ingredients (ie, in making hummus). Other brands may be smooth, but have an odd mouth feel -- they are almost numbing, and therefore not very flavorful. Soom Foods Tahini is both smooth and flavorful -- it mixes easily with other ingredients when cooking, and it tastes strongly of sesame without the numbing effect. The jar was somewhat smaller than I usually buy, but I have used it for cooking, and I have used it on pancakes, and either way it has been about perfect. The one area where it falls short? Sandwiches: it is a little runny for that. But I will definitely buy this again.

Wow!
Tahini: An oil slick floating on top of a brick of congealed bitter sesame residue. Not much flavor, but it's supposed to improve hummus, so do battle with it every few months and...enjoy? Or so I thought. Soom has forever changed my view, and has ruined me for the grocery store brands described above. There was no oil slick. There was no congealed rock at the bottom of the jar. The paste was actually sweet and delicious--it tasted almost like halvah! And it mixed beautifully, not seizing up at all when I made it into a sauce. This tahini made me realize that I've never had tahini before. Seriously, it's that good. Admittedly, it's also rather pricey. But worth every penny. Wow. Just wow.

Best tahini ever!
The taste and texture of this tahini is phenomenal. It’s perfect for salad dressings and sauces and also to drizzle over vegetables. It’s expensive but worth the higher price.

Makes the best hummus ever
This stuff makes great hummus. I dislike prepared store brand hummus and I have not had much success making my own with lesser quality tahini. But Wow! This is fabulous. A little pricey but I think it is worth it.

Creamy and delicious
Best tahini I’ve ever had. So creamy and delightful. Can’t wait for Sooms Cookbook to come out so I can find even more reasons to love it.

Yum!
The best tahini! I’ve tried lots of grocery store brands. This is by far the smoothest tahini I’ve used.

Taste and texture is like cement
Not proper tahini. More like flavorless cement. It took so long to churn this into a pourable product. Made hummus taste awful
