I purchased this cacao powder after hearing it could help with two things: satiating appetite and potentially lowering arterial plaque scores. I received a surprisingly high plaque score, and this is the only natural option I’ve heard of that might help address it. Appetite Control: While I’m still monitoring whether it’s helping with my plaque score, I can say I really believe it’s satiating my appetite. When I have it first thing in the morning, I feel notably less hungry throughout the day. Taste and Mixing: It has a fabulous chocolate flavor - even though I’m not particularly a chocolate person, I find the taste really good. It’s unsweetened, giving you control over sweetness levels. In Greek yogurt (my usual method), it doesn’t stir in perfectly and takes a bit of mixing. However, my wife puts it in her coffee and reports it’s delicious - it stirs and mixes with warm liquids very well. In fact, she just added another bag to our Amazon cart! Caffeine Sensitivity: I’m very sensitive to caffeine intake, and I’m happy to report this hasn’t bothered me at all despite containing some natural caffeine from the cacao. This cacao powder tastes great and is super helpful in baking like brownies. It mixes well and the consistency is like powdered sugar. It is high quality and the chocolate flavor is amazing.

Great product! Navitas Cacao is one the best (even tastes good without sweetener in coffee). Use it for smoothies, coffee, and with hot water (sometimes sweeten with some maple or honey, sometimes not, either way it's very good). Mixes well, and one of the best in tests for cacao's heavy metals content.

Really good stuff and great as a hot drink full of anti-oxidants when you first wake up. By itself it’s butter however, so is best mixed with a bit of honey for a low-cal healthy morning wake-me-up.
