Top product
Snapped an intake manifold bolt in the block. Used the left handed drill bit to drill a pilot hole in the remaining part of the bolt and then the screw extractor to get it out - worked well ! Having the screw extractors matched to the appropriate drill bits really helped me. Top product

Worth a try - they worked well for me!
I have an e-bike motor held in the bike frame by four T30 Torx steel bolts (M6x16mm). One had a chewed-up head and another had been snapped off at the bolt shoulder, leaving most of the broken bolt deep in the frame, so I knew I was in for some grief. I bought a set of these, despite the mixed reviews, as I thought they'd be worth a try. The main attraction for me was the drill bits are left-handed, so there's half a chance the drill bit alone will bite and remove a broken bolt if it's not too seized in. I had to use the smallest drill bit and smallest Easy Out bit for my bolt and despite the drill bit being quite fragile, I tried to take care not to snap it while drilling into the bolt. I used a pointed punch to make an indentation in the middle of the end of the broken bolt, switched the drill to anti-clockwise, added a little 3-in-1 oil to the drill bit and gently increased the speed and pressure allowing me to drill about 3-4mm into the bolt. I then tried the Easy-Out in a T-bar from a Tap & Die set and worked it in by hand, applying pressure inwards until it slowly bit into the bolt. Keeping the Easy-Out as straight as possible and keeping pressure applied to it as I turned it (anti-clockwise), much to my joy, the bolt slowly came out. Pics of the broken bolt in and then out of the frame attached. I don't know how effective these would be for bolts that are broken AND very seized, but the smallest drill bit and Easy Out worked in my case by removing my broken bolt, so I'm really chuffed ...and therefore I have to give them 5 stars!

Avoid. Terrible quality
These are awful. The drill bits are blunt (yes I know they are left hand flute, they are still not sharp!), snap incredibly easy, and the extractors are softer than even low grade bolts so they just round their edges the first time you use them. I didnt succesfully remove a single rusty bolt, and these were a complete waste of time an money.

easily snap be careful
you get what you pay for the easy out snap very easily and the drill blunt in seconds but fair enough to do 1 job if your careful

work well and seem good for the price
It's nice to see a kit that comes with both left-handed bits and screw extractors. You can use the bits to drill your initial pilot hole; sometimes this alone is enough to get the broken screw moving out. Then you can go in withthe extrator bit. These worked well on some screws in a drawer that would just not budge, and I couldn't get enough leverage on a screwdriver due to space, so ended up rounding off the head. Make sure you use even force when trying to back the screw out i.e. not an impact gun, otherwise it's likely to just spin and not grip in properly

good when you need it...
Although it's the kind of 'tool' we keep in case we need it - but rarely use - this works really well at a time when most of are a little frustrated. The drills are sharp, and the related easy outs work well once they get a hold. I was always told not to drill too deep or too fast, before applying the easy out, and that certainly seemed to work well with this product. Mt own personal preference is to use the easy out the size smaller that the drill you have used at the first attempt, just to ensure a good grip - and don't run the drill hard, but bring the power on slow - and this product responds well to that treatment.

Did the job for me!
Was nervous about whether it would work (having read the mixed reviews). I needed to remove a screw that was retaining a lock chamber in a PVC door. I switched my drill to turn anti-clockwise and started with the smallest size drill bit. I then tried the screw remover. I then went up a size and tried the drill bit and again the next size screw remover. I was beginning to think that it wasn’t going to work, but went up a size again and got the screw out. The cost of the kit was a lot less than calling out a locksmith and I will have it in stock for the next damaged screw that needs taking out 🙂.

El artículo me sirvió aunque costó un buen precio
Ha cumplido su cometido, aunque cuesta más de lo esperado. Necesité una llave fija para enroscar el extractor en el tornillo y la tuve que comprar. El precio me pareció un poco caro.

Qualitativ minderwertig
Aber was will man für 17,90 erwarten. Wer billig kauft kauft 2x. Absoluter Schrott die Bohrer. Bohren keinen Millimeter. Habe mir jetzt 2mm Bohrer von Bosch gekauft. Stück 2 Euro. Die Bohren wenigstens. Das Set gehört für mich in die Kategorie "Produkte die die Welt nicht braucht".
