I just purchased this OE bonnet badge for my BMW 2001 Z3 after the old one which has been on from new had just faded and started to peel. After reading various reports about replica/look a like badges which are cheaper and the various complaints about quality and fit I decided to buy an OE BMW part and I'm glad i did. They are expensive at £33.00 inc delivery but well worth it. The old one was a but awkward to get of as they have an adhesive rubber ring fitted on the reverse which had welded its self tight. I ended up splitting the old one getting it off and was left to gently knock the old broken sprigs through the rubber grommets lubricated with a little WD40. Pushed the new badge firmly into the place to make sure the adhesive seal met with the body work underneath. Conclusion...you only get what you pay for and in this case a quality item as you would expect from BMW.

Got just what I needed thank june

After purchasing a cheaper one from Hong Kong I thought my 530D deserved something that didn't look sobtstty. First impressions were good but after 6 months it faded just like the cheaper one. Very disappointed as now not sure where to go for a replacement as this is meant to be "direct" from BMW?!
