Frontier Co-op produces such a great tasting, fresh ORGANIC garlic item in these granules ! As versatile as your imagination can make it. It's not a garlic powder, per se. Usually the powder is a bit of a finer grain, & the Frontier garlic is not an item that we have yet found locally. I'm not even sure if the co-op market nearest me carries GRANULES at all... granules are so easy to use & so simple to quantify for recipes. But who needs to drive 76+ miles, round trip, when Amazon is at our fingertips ? But if that co-op has organic garlic granules -- I cannot believe it would match this really excellent garlic. Never had better granules, & the last such garlic -- which was our preferred formulation for some years -- was suddenly unavailable at one point... So after a deep dive into finding something to replace our favorite -- this looked like a worthy choice. It is better than expected. The taste, the texture & the consistency are remarkable. Thus, I am remarking. Still had some of our old favorite on hand so a direct comparison was in order. No contest. It belongs (poured out) inside of a well-sealed glass jar in the refrigerator here. I picked up these organic garlic granules to have a reliable garlic boost for quick weeknight meals. I was running low on fresh cloves and wanted something convenient but still flavorful. A 1-pound bulk bag sounded like a good long term solution, and knowing it is organic and kosher helped me settle on it. They work well in everyday cooking. I sprinkle them into hot oil before onions go in, mix them into sauces, and even into roasted vegetables. The granules dissolve easily, so there’s no gritty texture and the scent fills the kitchen quickly as things simmer. What stood out is how consistent the flavor is. A small pinch goes a long way, and I can dial up or down without having to peel garlic. It holds up in soups and stews too, adding depth without needing to pre mince. One small caveat is that the container can clump a bit if it gets humid, so I keep it tightly closed and use a dry scoop. Other than that, it’s been a dependable staple in my pantry and makes weeknight cooking easier. Overall I’m very happy with it and I’d rate it five stars.

This has the consistency of garlic powder. Extremely disappointed, as we bought two and now cannot return. We did not expect such a fine consistency. I would have left one star, but perhaps I am the one confused what granulated is exactly supposed to mean. A picture in the description of the powder would have helped the buyer find what they're looking for. Edit: My mom says it's great quality.
