Shoe Goo Repair Adhesive for Fixing Worn Shoes or Boots, Clear, 3.7 Ounce (109.4mL), 10 Snip Tip Applicator Tips and Pixiss Spreader Tools Set

I bought this to repair my golf shoes. The uppers were still in great condition but the sole had separated in places on both shoes. I used the shoe goo to reattach the sole to the uppers. It worked for a while but separated again (around the toe area). I used the shoe goo again (it was still usable since it comes with a lid for the spout) and I reattached the sole where it was loose. I have been wearing the shoes for several months and they are still attached. As you might imagine, these shoes take a bit of a beating on the course. One word of caution, when the shoe goo dries, you can see it clearly. Try to prevent excess from getting on the exterior of the shoes, because it is difficult to remove.

This product is awesome for things outside of the intended use. I use it for RC repairs, and to get things glued it. Works awesome and holds!

Bought this to patch a pair of sneakers with a peeled sole and it worked exactly like I hoped. The adhesive is thick but spreadable, bonds to leather, rubber, vinyl, and canvas, and the repaired area stayed waterproof after a few rainy walks. It comes with snip-tip applicators and plastic spreader tools which make applying a neat bead and smoothing it out much easier. Pros: Bonds and rebuilds soles really well. Waterproof once cured. Included applicators and spreaders make application tidy. Dries to a flexible finish so it doesn’t crack right away. Cons: Takes a while to fully cure (plan for overnight or longer for heavy wear). Messy if you rush it — use gloves and protect your work surface. Not a miracle fix for shoes that are completely falling apart, but great for small to medium repairs. Bottom line: If you want to extend the life of shoes or patch rubber/vinyl gear, this is an inexpensive, effective option. I’ll keep a tube in my toolbox.

Having 3 active little girls I really needed something to help repair shoes as they are going through shoes. I got this shoe goop because it has lots of tools, and seemed to be what I needed. It works well, the glue dries quickly overnight and the tools help it spread easily and they are strong and of high quality. 5 stars.

NOTE: This review is NOT of any PART of this set, but of the SET AS A WHOLE. All of the individual components of the set are fine. Shoe Goo is a wonderful (if messy - see later) product. The tips are perfectly normal screw-on applicator tips. The knives are fine plastic paint/putty knives. But these pieces are just are just assembled and where never meant to work together. Therein lies the problem. For those who have worked with Shoe Goo, you know that it can be very messy and difficult to work with. When I saw this set, I thought that perhaps the persuasion tips and the knives might make applying it and spreading it around easier. Shoe Goo is thick, viscous, and VERY sticky. So it took a lot of force to squeeze out of the tip and it makes the spreading knife sticky. In fact, I had to apply so much force to squeeze out the Goo, that the back end of the tube broke open! I was now left with the prospect of trying to finish while the the thick, sticky, viscous Shoe Goo oozes everywhere and sticks to everything. Thankfully, I was able to more or less finish, but had to immediately throw the still partly full tube away as there was now no way close it.

Shoe goo is the best. I used this entire bottle to repair a vintage canvas handbag. Cannot recommend shoe goo and this kit enough.

Really didn't work for my shoe repair application.the trim between the rubber and leather started to separate and I wanted to stop it before it progressed. I ended up using locktite flexible gel because the dry time/grab time on this product would have me wrap the shoe for hours - and that would probably end up sticking to the shoe as well.
