Very good quality bench at a reasonable price. The wood is *very solid* and the bench is easy to assemble. You can assemble it in about 15 minutes, all tools & screws provided; the instructions are clear and in plain English. (missing one small bit about the washers, but that's very minor). Very durable packaging too, everything is wrapped in Styrofoam and a sturdy box. Bench has a nice finish on it, feels upscale and is neutral enough to work with different decors. It's got a slight satin finish on it to repel water/stains. You'd have to sand that off if you wanted to stain it another color, but it's a very nice and light finish right out of the box, so it doesn't need it. Bench looks like the kind of thing that would cost $300+ at a store like crate & barrel. It's so much nicer than most stuff at Ikea that just feels slapped together and flimsy. Bench can hold 2 people across, and easily holds 300lbs of people sitting on top of it. Storage area fits size 12 men's shoes and will hold 3 to 4 pair of shoes depending on the type of shoe. Three pairs of size 12 sneakers and a pair narrow loafers or sandals would fit, etc. Really happy with this purchase, one of the best things I've bought on amazon for a long time.

This little shoe organizer if great quality and really pretty. It is well made and sturdy. I bought it in 2 sizes and both fit perfectly in my area. It was easy to put together. It came with an Allen wrench so no tools needed. It took me about 15 minutes to put together. It hold a lot of shoes or other things.

Very happy with this purchase. It's actually made out of real wood! So many items are marketed as wood on line nowadays but when you get them they're not wood. So it was nice to actually get something that is made with real wood. And it's very sturdy and well constructed,. Easy to put together

Taking away one star because this was purchased for boys with big feet(size 12). Their picture shows the shoes fitting perfectly. Ours has shoes hanging over the edge. I was expecting a little different color. I was expecting the color in the picture. Regardless it fit in the space I needed it too. It was the right height I needed it to be. It looks nicer than the last one I had. So overall, I think it’s nice, not difficult to put together. I wish it could have been just a little bigger(in depth) so that the shoes don’t stick out. I think this is standard though. It’s much sturdier and more attractive than our other one. You can sit on this one safely too.

Very sturdy construction and super easy to assemble. It’s smaller than I’d thought, but still serves its purpose, it honestly looks very cute! Solid wood, worth the price for sure!!

After an exhaustive search, I chose this shoe rack based on size, quality and customer reviews. I was pleasantly pleased when all of the research and advice panned out and I received this product. It is solid! It came packaged well, but not with excessive earth-hurting materials. The wood is solid and stained and polished very nicely (more of a wood feel than the too-shiny feel). I don't think the word "rustic" in the product description is accurate, it's more refined. We followed the advice from another reviewer who said to slide on the split washer and then the whole washer onto each bolt before pushing the bolt through the holes. (This step isn't shown in the directions). We forgot to follow the advice to NOT tighten the first shelf all the way tight until adding the second shelf, which made getting the second shelf on a little trickier. I used my phone flashlight to see where the holes were to line up the bolts with. Ha. Two people made it easy to hold up the sides to assemble the shelves, but one person could do this if necessary. I REALLY like that you don't see the bolts on the outside of the piece! It looks like furniture! And we have all taken turns sitting on it, and it feels like a sturdy bench. Right now it is housing some women's size 7s and men's size 12s and six pair fit nicely, including one pair large garden clogs. My only wish is that there were more stain/color options, however if you are handy, you could get the natural colored one and stain it the way you like. The one I bought is dark brown with an ever so slight reddish undertone, which looks a little darker than the one pictured on Amazon. Mine is the 31" width, but it comes in smaller and larger widths as well. Happy shoe rack shopping! ;o

This is a very sturdy, solid wood bench that is also beautiful! I have arthritis in my hands, but was able to assemble it fairly easily, as the pre-drilled holes actually lined up nicely. I expect it to last for many years and love that such a handsome piece is also very useful.

Although the reviews were very positive, this item still exceeded my expectations. I was looking primarily for an entry bench on which to take shoes on and off. Accordingly, I didnt want any particle board dross. This is very sturdy and exceptionally well finished. Although it's not that important to me, the shoe racks could be marginallly taller. That said, they fit Size 11 sneakers comfortably. Running shoes are a bit tight but they slot in well enough. Delivery to Australia took roughly a week which is pretty sharp. All-in-all, very happy with this buy

The product recevied is of very poor quality and completely different than shown in images on Amazon. Color is burgundy instead of brown. Finish is so rough and bad. The legs are out of balance. Now amazon is not allowing me the option to return or replace this product. This was not expected from Amazon. Very bad experience. Please do not buy this crap.
