I purchased this for two reasons 1. To get brushes cleaner and dryer, faster. 2. To save on brush cleaning product. (Some reviews complain that this didn't clean their non-water soluble make-up brushes when using water. Sigh. Of course not, if makeup was waterproof, it's not going to get clean using just water. The problem isn't the spinner, it's user error.... When cleaning manually, my brushes soak up the cleaner (Garnier Micellar Water- (MW) pink top) and I wasted a lot, and got only moderately clean brushes, and they needed at least a day to dry. What I did today, using the same MW product, got 2 dozen brushes nearly new condition, very dry. I'll never be without this spinner. After putting the brush holder on a brush, pulling off, putting on again for step two, I set up an assembly line. 1. Small bowl with Micellar water (MW) 2. Brush Cleaning bowl 3. MW in the bowl that comes with kit 4. Wide mouth Mason jar with dawn and water 5. Wide mouth Mason jar with regular water As the first bowl of MW got dirty, I'd use some of the MW from the spinning bowl to replace it, and topped of the spinning bowl with fresh MW. This saved product, and got max use out of the MW. You will also need AAA batteries, and probably gorilla glue or super glue, as in my experience a few brushes pulled off from the handles since they weren't glued well to start with. It has nothing to do with the spinner. By starting with MW, it really didn't matter if the makeup was water soluble or not. Everything came out clean. I cleaned my wedges with with the MC that was in the bowl when I was finished cleaning the brushes, then used the dawn and the regular water jars, so all my applicators are clean now! Absolutely nothing wasted. This spinner will pay for itself in two uses just from the savings on MW. If you use pricier brush cleaner, it will save you even more $$ faster.

I bought this device and some of the make up brush shampoo to add to the water. It worked perfectly. The spin even did so well the brush felt dry and soft when I pulled it out. It is definitely worth the money spent. If you're looking for something to clean your brushes this is it. It's easy to use. The price is especially great! Don't miss out on a great item for a great price.

So far has worked great. The only issue is when a brush doesn't fit snug enough, they tend to fall out when you're trying to spin it.

Cleans make up brushes very well. Spinning mechanism is a little sensitive, need to make sure it’s on properly to get best results. Would still recommend

This was a Christmas gift requested by a family member. It feels super cheap (the quality vs. price was on point). However, I was pleasantly surprised to see it in action! It did clean her makeup brushes (and mine!) pretty well. I'm sure there are sturdier versions out there compared to the very lightweight plastic of this one, and probably some that hold the brushes tighter too.

Worked pretty good. I did have a couple of brushes with pointy ends that were too small for any of the attachments. Did the trip on the other brushes, however the one I used for liquid foundation I had to use this, then get in deep with my finger under the faucet, then back to this product. The liquid was just in there too deep.

This is like magic, clean and dry each brush in like 20 seconds. It’s crazy, I thought it was going to be a total joke. A friend got me this as a gift and it just sat in my cupboard for a month. Out of guilt, I finally used it and I am obsessed! I ordered two more for gifts and I have a feeling I’ll be buying even more. Make sure to get rinse free brush cleaner and dilute it.

I use very good batteries and this just sucks the life out of my batteries and the brushes dont really ever get that clean. Ive gone back to using a silicone mat and manually scrubbing my brushes.

It's a good one. Made my life easy when cleaning my gazillion make up brushes. Overall, very satisfied.

Bought this on a whim, and out of sheer laziness with washing my brushes. It's a little flimsy, but it cleans my brushes really well, and a lot quicker than I can. Most of the older makeup came off quite quickly, while a few needed a couple extra minutes spinning in the cleaner solution. Definitely love how dry they are when it's done, and saves me so much time!
