Conair MBTS9 Ultimate Thermal Spa Bath Mat with Remote and Massage, Chrome

This is my very first review, i hope you like it. I hope it's helpful. If you are the type of person that nothing make you happy, don't buy this product or any products. Use the money to get professional help. You are driving the rest of us crazy. Ok, for the rest of you, I had been hoping that a product like this before I ever knew it existed. We built a new home and had a garden tub installed. Sounded great at the time and for a while it was nice. But soon We regretted not putting in a whirlpool tub. At that point it was to late and would be way to expensive. I found this product and it looked to good to be true. Would it work? Would it be even close to a spa experience? I read the review already posted and figured that except for one persons comments ( the person referred to at the top) even if they had a problem they still listed it as 4 to 5 stars. I took a chance and bought it. I was trying to not get my hopes up, and was looking for it to be just ok. BUY this product! If you use it every day and have to replace it ever year, it would be worth it. At the price you couldn't believe how great it works. It pushes air through at such a rate that you get a real jets feel. Not just bubbles. For the person who said it was to loud must never used a real spa tube. Spa's are loud but this product it not that loud. It tells anyone walking buy, leave me alone. I used bath tub caulk to plug the over flow ( If you do this, do be stupid and walk off and leave it). Next buy a bath pillow. Make the water as hot as you can take it ( once again don't be stupid). As for the size of it. It is made to fit the tube not your body frame. Your tube is not six feet. As for slipping put a rubber flour mat down and it won't slip. Buy it, enjoy it, love it thank me later. If you don't love it refer to the top of the review. Take care

this is really pretty nice, the only thing is that the suction cups do not hold the matt down. We have a little texture in our tub and they just don't hold. If they were larger I think it would be ok. The ones up by the neck rest hold pretty good it is the rest. I have used a tacky wax to help hold it down, but then you have to clean it up which is a pain.

For the price you can not beat this item. I read some of the bad reviews, I have to disagree. I am 5'10" and yes it would be nice if it had a few more inches, but the size of the mat doesn't take away from my enjoyment. I also can't expect a company to cater to my size. At this price they have to make a 'standard' size. This thing is awesome. Even on the low setting it is amazing. The back/neck massage part is a nice perk. The only thing I would say about that is you have to be pressed firmly against the back for the massage action to work, it automatically turns off if you aren't pressed against it. but the spa is wonderful even without the massage. My water stays very hot, but I run it blazing hot to begin with, always have. It truely is just like a small jaccuzi. I used to use a size of the tub spa and this is miles better. You get so much more than you pay for with this machine I feel. I think the noise of the machine is a perk, it tunes out all outside noise and lets you just relax. The foot rollers and nice too. I love it I love it I love it!

It takes up lots of space. It's good if you can keep it in the tub and have a shower for daily use. Otherwise?

I have MS and sometimes have really terrible back and neck pain. I loved staying at my parent's house because I could use their jacuzzi and it really helped with the pain. My apartment has a bath tub and I thought to my self, "self what could I do to make this better"...and I saw the bath spa on-line. I loved it!!! I figured it would make a few bubbles and help a little but it really was great. It's not a jacuzzi but it really felt wonderful on my neck and shoulders, worth the buy. It's thermal and does keep the bath warmer then it would be on its own, but doesn't heat the tub. It's not something you would leave in the tub all the time, I just waited until it dried, folded it up, and put it in my linen closet. I've never written a review for a product before but had to say something about this. 2 thumbs up!!

The basic function of this unit works well, and is a welcome relaxation at the end of a long day. However, the neck massager is cranky and the foot massagers flop around in the way. This unit would be preferable with just more aeration pads, but it is usable and worth the price.
