OTTERBOX DEFENDER SERIES Case for iPhone SE (1st gen - 2016) and iPhone 5/5s - Retail Packaging - RASPBERRY (BLACK/RASPBERRY PINK)

The OtterBox Defender Series is hands down one of the best heavy duty phone cases I’ve used. It offers excellent protection, especially if you’re prone to dropping your phone or work in tough environments. The multi-layer design with a hard inner shell and soft outer slipcover absorbs shock like a champ. The port covers keep out dust and debris, and the built-in belt clip holster is surprisingly sturdy and useful. While it does add some bulk to the phone, that’s expected with this level of protection. It’s not for those who want a slim profile, but if you care more about durability than looks, this case delivers. My phone has survived multiple drops onto concrete without a scratch worth every penny!

Fits my iPhone 5s perfectly. The tab to keep the headphone port watertight seems to be wearing, with the constant opening and closing- I've had the case for about 6 months, with daily headphone use. I'm sure eventually the tab will rip off, but by then I'll probably need (want) a new case. Love the color, too. I've dropped this phone several times and haven't had an issue yet. Every couple weeks I need to take apart the case to wipe out the dust on the inside. This might not be an issue for many, however; I do landscape work, so this phone is frequently dirty, dusty, or wet. The phone also handles well in extreme heat and cold.

My phone has been dropped from a fair height onto concrete, knocked of counters onto tile and even dropped in a puddle. You may be asking, how does someone as clumsy as you survive. Good question. The OtterBox helps. Not a spec of damage.It fits all the connectors I have (even non apple branded ones) all the buttons work, sound is good.3 years of constant use and the silicone bumper tore a bit and the holster snapped. OtterBox replaces for only shipping cost, no questions, online, took like 1 minute.Worth every penny.

I was looking for a new cover and couldn't find anything I liked so decided to settle on the red one as it seemed okay as a replacement for my old one that had issues. When I opened it, expected just another otter. Boy was I surprised. Haven't had one that displayed the apple on back of iphone before and its a super pretty color. The feel of the case is also very nice and it seems a bit lighter than my previous cases. I normally like designs on cases like cammo or flags, but this one will be with me a long time I think. Expected it to get dirty quickly and that just hasn't happened, still looks sparkling new.

I recently downgraded from an iphone 6 to an iphone 5s for financial reasons and otterboxes have always been my best friend so I had to get one for this new phone.The color is really close to the picture, and I had no complaints about that at all.However, It feels kind of cheap. I don't know if this is because the phone is an older model or simply because I happened to get a defective one. But it does not fit quite right on the bottom of my phone which is more annoying than I thought it would be. It feels heavy and sturdy like an otterbox, so I guess I am fine with it for the price, But it does feel cheaply made.Overall , its a good case. Do I wish I had invested in a more expensive otterbox? Not really. It does what its supposed to. I've already dropped it 4 times and theres not even a scratch on the otterbox.

I only by these. They are a bit bulkier than others but bulletproof (almost). Last one is still on my iPhone 4. I am tough on a case - dust, mud, grease, heat, cold I get in to some nasty environments and so does the case. Be aware that the iPhone 5 case will fit the SE. However, an iPhone 5 case covers the home button. If you use it on an SE, the fingerprint security feature that is on the home button is not functional because it is covered. I don't use the feature on my SE so no big deal. This case allows you to use the feature.

The Otterbox for iphone is unsurpassed for the protection it provides while giving full access to the phone's features. My first one was for my iphone 4 for almost 3 years. When I traded it in at the Apple Store for my new iphone 5s, they said the 4 was in "like new" condition. All the credit goes to the Otterbox because I can tear up a lead pipe. That first Otterbox was basic black, which was fine except everybody else had a black one. For my new Otterbox to go with the iphone 5s, I wanted something that would stand out a little more. I wanted red. The "raspberry" color looked red in the Amazon ad, so I ordered it. Well, it isn 't red; it's hot pink: standing out, check. That color stupidity is the only reason for giving the Otterbox a score of 4 stars instead of 5.

These are great cellphone cases for those that want really great protection for their cellphone. This is my third case and each has fit perfectly and installation is easy. These fit great when using a tempered glass screen protector (I choose to remove the plastic screen cover that came with the Defender). My wife wanted a brighter color and the raspberry was just the ticket for her.
