The parrot like these, I wouldn’t order more than one at a time as when we did it was infested with weevils

I inherited my parrot from someone who passed away. He was raised on sunflower seeds and thats ALL he will eat. He loves this seed mix. Will continue to buy it as long as he eats it.

My Amazon Parrot loves this brand because of the amount of Sunflower seed. I also like that it smells so good. Very fruity delicious smell

Great source of seeds, but should not be the only source of food for your birds. Needs to be mixed with additional food or supplement with fruits and vegetables.

If my picky bird likes it it's good to me.

My African Grey loves this seed! It smells so fresh and appetizing each time I replenish his feed bowl. That’s one of the things that is most important to me…a fresh smell. I’ve reordered this many times and never had a bag infested with bugs!

Use the product all the time but for the price, in my bird store I get a larger bag at that price.

First, most parrots (mine included) choose sunflower seeds over all other seeds. Unfortunately, sunflower seeds aren’t the healthiest for parrots, and too many can lead to weight gain and various health issues. The Higgins Vita Seed Parrot is popular with two of my three parrots -- the third does not like sunflower seeds. For the other two, I mix the Higgins in with fresh vegetables (peas in the pod are their favourite followed by corn) and fruit (papaya). Invariably, the sunflower seeds are eaten first and because they fill their stomaches, I choose to give less of the sunflower seed than the fresh food. That having been said, the Higgins Vita Seed is well packaged with a "re-seal" feature that actually works (!), and a quality of seed that is fresh and free of dust or mulch. If you are using this as the main food source for your parrot, you may want to look at something that is more balanced (for example, less sunflower; more safflower). If it is used as a treat or as a component of their diet, I would suggest that Higgins Via Seed Parrot is a good buy.

This is the best parrot food in our view. Our parrot is healthy and enjoys the food. She also has a great shine on her feathers and is growing at a good rate. we will keep on buying the food as it is really a good product.
