I am the process of rebuilding a big block motor so I thought I would attempt the transmission next. I have never tore into a transmission before but after reading thru the book I think I will have enough info to complete the rebuild of my transmission. There are special tools that you need to help with the tear down and assembly of your transmission so I was a little irritated that no specs were given to help build your tools. As a toolmaker in the skilled trades I can figure out what I need to build fixtures and jigs. There is a bunch of info on the web for tool design for spring compressors so it takes a little bit of research to find the right one. I will reevaluate this book once I complete my rebuild on my transmission.

Excellent resource
Great book for going through a TH350. The color photos are excellent, and the author has good common sense approach. The pages now have oil smudges and was used throughout the assembly.

I am the process of rebuilding a big block motor so I thought I would attempt the transmission next. I have never tore into a transmission before but after reading thru the book I think I will have enough info to complete the rebuild of my transmission. There are special tools that you need to help with the tear down and assembly of your transmission so I was a little irritated that no specs were given to help build your tools. buy this manual if you have a th 350
really easy to follow great instructions all the way from teardown to rebuild with a few extra tricks thrown in for more power I rebuilt my th350 in a couple days this thing is a lifesaver

Great book to rebuild
Great book for a backup. Used a video to rebuild my Th350 and was able to reference some items in this book. Definitely a must if you have no experience, like me, to rebuild it

Super revue technique (tout en anglais)sur la boite automatique general motor th 350,mais attention elle ne vous permettra pas de refaire votre boite si vous n'y connaissez rien et que vous n'avez jamais travaillè dans une boite auto.certains disent que la revue atsg disponible aux usa est mieux mais elle est deux fois plus chère.

Excellent
Very informative with pictures. Eliminated the need for me to take pictures and take notes. Very helpful in proper reassembly. It required a few adjustments which I would not have known to be needed without the book.
